Having to buy multiple titles from the franchise to unlock playable animals and special bits is a little pain.
However, I highly recommend this game if you like the Shelter series.

What is Meadow?
A forum in disguise. The social platform in gaming clothes. Unique multiplayer sandbox. Pick the animal, explore the wild open-world, communicate with other players by using body language, emotes and noises, gather flowers, interact with objects, role-play, and most importantly, have fun!
**This is not a survival or PvP game. They do not plan on making it survival.**
Basically you explore the world, collect flowers, shiny puzzle pieces, and break obelisks(to get more puzzle pieces). They help you get points, unlock more animals and customization(different voices and skins).

*Eagle - Be on Leaderboards and unlock the White Eagle(if you drop out, you won't be able to play as it anymore) or Buy the ENTIRE Shelter catalogue to permanently unlock the Bald Eagle.
*Animals you have to unlock by purchasing other titles and soundtracks

Yes, those pesky yellow and black stripes. I once had a character in a map and then deleted the map and the map was then completely black.;3; I hate those. I had them at one point when I downloaded a new map and I somehow got glitched into the air, with that going on I tried to get back down to ground level and to the portal to get out. It didn't work, my character was stuck until I got on the FH site and reset it. Lol
