Updates for December

We are now taking part of our 2nd Feral Christmas season here in the FeralHeart community and as it seems, even though many tough bumps on the way we are still going strong and as it's been proven, not even the end of the world could touch us. But lets post those updates.

Board & Site changes
One bigger change is that Razmirz has been updating the site and forum, this should hopefully bring more stability to the site overall and have more reliable uptimes for pretty much anyone. Another thing is that the forum has also been updated to a newer version which is a reason why we currently lack badges for profiles, hopefully this should be sorted out eventually.

The change this time around is that the staffy was cleaning out the majority of the old request boards such as mesh requests and art requests. The reason for this is really that the request threads at hand do not hold that much of good information that anyone would look back upon and make the request boards just a tad bit more tidy. Was a tedious task but they did a good jobbies and it should all be nice and sleek in those boards.

Events & kewl sturf
To keep you guys entertained the staff has opened up an art contest which is currently in the going. Both traditional and digital art is welcome and we hope to see plenty of nice art based around the game. If you are interested to take part, or just want to check up on the entrants art, you can do it here.

Our MOTS vote took part this month and we had quite a few nice members that got nominated, however, in the end there was 3 users that you guys voted for our Autumn Member of the season and that was no other than.

PrettyReckless, LordSuragaha and RawSyndicate!

Congratulations to you little floofies, we are very happy to have you around and hope you will remain so for a long time. Give them some extra snuzzles now during the cold weather.

Side note
On a side note, I do excuse for the late news post, but it's here now and things should be alright. The staff also wish to thank everyone for showing up for our Christmas party we had to just socialize and be together. Also a shoutout to Delay for making the wonderful map, but also Ramine that took care of the radio for us to listen to.

Thanks~ Redrawr outz

News Archives / November Update 3/11

Updates for November
Times move on and we just passed by the happy Halloween which I'm sure many enjoyed. I really want to apologize for the late news post but there's been a few things around the corner, not to mention that the content for one has been very calm this month but there's still something worth mentioning.

Board & Site changes
After some messing around with the mesh section we made one final touch to this board. Instead of it remaining inside of the "Other Creations" board it's now seen and linked from the board index directly which means it is it's own section from now on which means less clicks and easier navigation for the meshers and those interested in downloads.

Events & kewl sturf
Something that could be worth mentioning for those who hasn't noticed this already is that FeralHeart has gotten a nice little Tumblr page. There's probably quite a few members that hangs about on that site, and a FeralHeart Tumblr will be able to post fun, less fun, important or less important information and posts revolving FeralHeart, so make sure to follow it.

Link for it right Here

As Halloween passed by us FeralHeart held a special little part for those that were able to attend. We want to thank all floofies that showed up for this and took part and hope to do it again, and a big thanks to Delay for putting together the Halloween map for us all to visit.

But with the party there was also a preset contest of who that could up with the most interesting/spooky Halloween preset, and there was 3 Ferals that deserve to be mentioned in here as well.

3rd place
Roflcopter

2nd place
Wolpard

1st place
Tearless

So a big applause for them and their creations. As always thanks to all participants and people attending. If you want to check up on the presets that won you can do so by clicking this thread.

Side note
Hopefully there's more to provide next month around, and don't forget that MOTS Autumn is coming up so make sure you are on the tip of your toes. But for now, we just want to thank everyone behaving for yet another month of FeralHearting and we will posties soon again.

Thanks~ Redrawr outz

News Archives / October Update 1/10
« on: October 01, 2012, 07:22:05 pm »
Updates for October
Another rather calm month has now passed bye and we can most likely say that the autumn is just around the corner. There's been some changes in the community and game, so we will have yet another quick news post to sum some things up.

Notice Regarding The Game Server
We had some changes done to the map limits once again, this time it's actually a reduction done to hopefully improve stability for those playing the game. The current limit for users within one map is 160.

Notice Regarding Site/Game Registrations
If you have been active on the forum you might've noticed Razmirz post regarding the site registrations. We will now have registrations open randomly throughout the week instead of open 24/7 to provide more stability and smoother experience for those who are playing, if you wish to read more about it, visit this thread. for more information.

Board & Site changes
A while back we got a new very welcomed function here on the site that will most likely save some users from frustration or headaches at times. Users are now able to reset Character position directly from our site without even entering the game. This function will be very useful if you'd have a stuck character inside of a custom map that gives the message "Failed to connect to map server" after several tries, or if your character is currently placed within a fully populated map hard getting into. This will ensure that users always will be able to play on their characters they like the most. To use this function you log into the site login next to the banner, and then click "Reset Character", you will be asked to sign in using your game account again that holds the characters you wish to reset, and from their it's a rather plain forward Reset home, go home option.

After requests, we now have a "Request Meshes" board here on the forum. The mesh section has gotten rather big, and the request mesh threads is completely mixed around with the actual creations threads, due to the amount of users showing interest in meshes in particular we will be splitting up the section for created meshes and mesh threads, and another for already Finished meshes or meshes being  worked on. This should make things more organized and easier for users to locate what they are looking for.

Events & kewl sturf
The video contest is finally finished and we have our top three that you guys voted to be the winners!

3rd place
Sir_Anathema with their video Non Omnis Moriar

2nd place
Muser with their video Poisen (Angel of Vice)

1st place
Viinca with their video Abre Tu Mente

Thanks you all for participating and for your votes, hopefully we will be able to have a similar event once again soon. You can check on the video contest winners videos by visiting this thread.

Side note
That was all for this time around though even though it was quite short on text this time around we hope it was nice treading through. hope you guys will stay safez and we will be backies next month for yet another post.

Thanks~ Redrawr outz

News Archives / September Update 1/9
« on: September 01, 2012, 10:02:15 pm »
Updates for September

Even though the majority is now jumping back to their school since the summer break has now passed, things are moving on as always here around FeralHeart. The month might been very calm around the boards, but we still have a few things to bring to your attention, so feel free to read through September News update.

Notice Regarding The Game Server
Not too long ago Razmirz did some upgrading to the game server and we now have faster writing and reading speeds. The old limit of 200 players within a map has been increased to up to 300 and bad token messages users used to bump into should been reduced drastically, giving a better play experience all together.

Board & Site changes
On the board front there has not been too much going on, but we have one slight of change, and that is the sticky in the "Member Bio & Journals" section here on the board, the sticky that used to exist has been remade a bit, so thankies to ramine for that. New sticky can be found by clicking here.

Events & kewl sturf
Our Member of the season vote for the Summer period has now ended, and we have 3 lovely members who made it. They are no one else but.

BigSkippy, Thierry and Tearless!

Congratulations to you three, you have been a very nice addition to the Site and game and the members of the community think you deserve this one, and the staff can only agree on this. Whether it's for input regarding subjects, helping new members, creations shared or just time and interest put into the game we thank you for it all. You will soon receive and updated profile with a nice little ribbon and wear the green MOTS name on the online list for the upcoming season.

Give them all a congratulations guys!

The video making contest is moving on, and we finally have the qualifiers for the final vote. We thank everyone who took part and entered the contest and shared their videos with us since we got quite a few lovely viddies but now it's time to determine the top 3 but also see who takes home the first spot. If you are interested in putting your vote for certain viddies feel free to visit this thread and check out the qualifiers. The vote will keep on going until the middle of September.

Side note
From one thing to another, we have yet another MIT on the team, and the floof we are speaking of is our BigSkippy. He's spent lots of time and interest into the FeralHeart community and it has not gone unnoticed. He will most likely be helping the staffies a lot the upcoming month and show his floof like qualities.

Short and simple monthly update this time around, hopefully we will have more to bring up and share in the next update, but low on information or not, see you in a month, and stay safe.

Thanks~ Redrawr outz

News Archives / August Update 1/8
« on: August 01, 2012, 08:14:25 pm »
Updates for August

We are all enjoying our summer and FeralHearting our days away into a new month. You've seen these threads before, and now it's time for the August update thread. Hopefully we'll have something interesting to mention for everyone in the community.

Notice Regarding The Game Server
As some of you might've noticed over the last weekdays we had around is that the server has been hard to connect to during the mornings/mid days(around 10-11am UTC). This is because our servers are going through it's daily backups around this time of the day during the weekdays. If you face connection problems around this time, just be patient and the server should be accessible soon again.

Board & Site changes
After several threads being posted on the forum and matters being discussed both on the boards and amongst staff, we have done yet another change towards the "Karma System" that we have here on the forum, and since some users wished for a change or were unhappy with how it worked, we are going to try out new ways of how to use and see how it goes. The change now is that Karma has changed to "Floof-O-Meter" to give it more neutral sound and aimed more towards our community, but we have also removed the option for all members to bite/smite another user to focus more on the positives instead of negatives.

If you haven't noticed by using the site already, we now have a special little function on the side of every page here on the site. By dragging your cursor over to the right corner of the screen next to the scroller you are now able to see the most popular maps in the game used at the current time and their user count. This will let you guys know more easily about a maps population and what to expect when running around inside the game.

Since there has always been a high interest for games in general in the FeralHeart community, and it's an interest many share across forums alike, we have now added an "Other Games" board located in the offtopic section. This board can be used for discussion, sharing and ideas for all other games and it's platforms that might exist out there. We hope to see some great activity from you lots and the board should be open for posting very soon.

The Game rules thread has been updated and does now also hold an Hungarian translation which can be find next to the other translations in the Games rules thread.

Events & kewl sturf

Last month the Avatar Contest got to play in overtime, but we ended up with a winner this time as well, and it was no one else than Wolffox! Apparently the new trend is Head nomming lions and the communitys top vote. Congratulations Wolffox.

We are now starting up a new contest for this month, and this time around it will be a Video making contest! We will be looking for creativity and editing skills this time around when FeralHeart footage is in the center, so if you love to edit videos, this is a great opportunity for you two mix two things you like. Visit this thread for more information.

The next MOTS is now up and running for you floofs to nominate the next member of the season "Summer". Make sure you peek in and nominate the users YOU think deserve to be the next MOTS here on the forum! Link to the thread is located here.

Side note
I'm sure the majority on the forum has already noticed, but let me throw it out here that our previous MIT Wolffox is now a moderator here on the forum. They have been of great help, and will hopefully keep being so in the future taking care of the things around here.

On the other side we wish to thank you guys for yet another nice summer month with you here and on FeralHeart and I'm sure we will bump into eachother in the game soon again.

Until next monthly update,

Thanks~ Redrawr outz

Work In Progress Maps & Map Discussion / FeralCity /// Download is up
« on: July 12, 2012, 08:08:36 pm »
Feralcity

Download here
http://www.feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=1775.msg22942#msg22942

So the plans right now is to make a smexy city map for the public that anyone can enjoy and spend time in. Our biggest enemy right now would be the lag that will show for the majority of the users visiting a map filled with objects. But trying is something that should be worth doing, and no matter how it will turn out, tries of giving out something will be done.

With some help of friends in the community this project has already gotten a jumpstart and there's a good amount of meshes that can be used for this project. The "city" in this will be rather small, but tries will be done to get it as close as possible to a city feel inside feralheart.

Some things this map will feature or I will try to feature is lots of texture variety, very detailed city environment, custom sounds and other candy as long as FeralHeart allows it. If you want to provide or suggest meshes and what not, feel free to bump this post.
http://www.feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=23810.0

If I make any progress I'd like to share with you lots I will post screens and other fun stuffs in here to let others know of any potential progress or if it's even alive. But as long as the thread exist, the project is alivez.
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Map Information:
Width: 7000
Height 300
Boundary: 1200
Runtime end to end:
23 Seconds

So the basics of the maps are done now when it comes to the heightmap so I know what I have to work with. Alls the roads are actually a few coordinates below the regular ground, but there's also height differences of the different planes of the town/city, was quite the trick.

A small step for man a giant leap for lilly the lioness, here taking the first steps on the pavement of Feralcity. This is actually a rough work to do since I need to use regular collboxes for the majority of the pavement to save on performance. Looks good so far though.

Finally now you can start to see the map representing something more city like. I added on the 5th texture which is the concrete one that will show in the more busy area of the city, added some street marks, but I also took the liberty to change the other road texture since I managed to find a more suiting one. A long way to go though. You can also see where the park will be situated by looking in the top right corner.

There's 3 different height levels of the city, and I'm finally done with the top one when it comes to placing sidewalks and collisions for them. They aren't exactly the most fun thing in the world, but since they do so much difference in a map like this it's a must. And since most of the top level is completed, I threw in some more detailz. Like parking lotz?

Here's just a quick view of a part of the middle level of the city leading out to the bottom one. Top level(downtown) and middle level is now finished with sidewalks and their collisions. Just the bottom and final level left now until I can start working on the fun stuff.

I know I cheated some on the collisions and roadmarks since the sidewalks and roads are not completely done yet. But it has been a lot of workies and I'll get back to it later. Here's the whole map so far in all it's glory though.

First things first, now when red has taking over the city, the city billboard needs a change. Yes.. He did it again.

Here's a sneak peek of what the visitors might see when they first arrive to feralcity.

Trash needs to go somewhere, here's the Compound.

Awwww yeeeaaaa

Come pleh wiff me. Trying to keep the map interesting and just not houses everywhere, of course adding something like this wouldn't be possible without the meshers in the community to help you out.

Hungry while you are paying a visit to the city? No problem! Here's a diner that you can roleplay it all out in.

Here's a screen from one of the main streets in the city.

And another from the road leading into the city from the suburbs area.

And a last part from the top west corner of the city.

News Archives / July Update 1/7
« on: July 01, 2012, 08:21:00 pm »
Updates for July

Hewwo againz. Summer days keeps on running for most and it's time for yet another updates thread for you guys. This month might not be as crazy on updates at the other ones, but we still have a few things to mention so keep on reading.

Board changes
So after what should've been a longer a wait for you guys, we've decided to start accepting applies for the main addons board again located here. If you've been reading the news post regarding this section, we've been cleaning it out and changing the requirements to post in there. This doesn't by any means make you more important for having a thread in the section but we are willing to try the whole application idea for a while to have it more organized. If you are interested in having a thread on the main addons board, just read the sticky on how to apply, it will explain throughout how to do it.

Thread can be found here

Extra information
(If you used to have an "addons & mods" thread in the main section for all your creations and the thread followed the rules, you should be able to mention the name of your thread to the moderator you write your apply for, that way they should be able to revive your old thread for the section. However, you might be advised to edit the thread depending on how it was made)

There's also a new/modified sticky in the maps board regarding how to upload and download custom maps for the game, just to make things a bit cleaner looking and of course, a place you can direct users new to the map downloading. Thank you Crin for remaking this. The sticky itself can be found here.

Events & kewl sturf
This month we had a nice little summer party thrown together by the staff. It all took place within a map made just for the party(Thank you Kyugima), and we had our radio streaming the whole time during this event. It seemed like a welcomed idea according to the ones taking part of it, and chances are we will have more of these in the future. For those who wish to look back on the event or just curious about how it was, you can always visit the link below for screenshots.

Awshum Screenies Here!

The Avatar contest that's been running on the forum and finished today. The winner was meant to be announced here, but due to a tie in the voting results this contest is now doing overtime. If you want to put in yet another vote, you can do so by visiting this page, and vote once again. The voting closes 4th of July though so you better vote as soon as possible.

Side note
On a side note, we'd like to inform you floofs that we have had a new MIT. This mod in training is no one else but our Wolffox. She's done a great job around the forums in the past, and will now get a chance to show us what they can do. If you need assistance with anything, don't be afraid to ask them.

That's all this time around, and we all hope you'll enjoy yourselves on the game and site until the next time around.

If you guys got any questions feel free to PM the Mods here on the forum.

Thanks~ Redrawr outz

News Archives / Changes to the main addons & mods board
« on: June 04, 2012, 07:12:27 pm »
Some of you Might've noticed that this board has been locked down from posting threads in for the last week and there's a reason for this.

Due to a good amount of users ignoring the board rules and plain out posting threads with questions, one kind of content, sloppy postings without links or screens etc. The main addons & mods board will now change to "Apply Only" section in which the board will be locked and your thread can only be placed there if moved by a moderator. The exact rules for which threads that will be allowed will explained in the sticky on the board once the time comes, one thing is certain though, that there WILL be requirements to post in this board.

So we are going to try this for a while and see how it turns out, but before we do so we are going to clean out that board from all threads and start new and that's why we want everyone with a thread in that section to

Copy the content from their threads and save it

This is so you will not loose any potential links or information in your threads before we remove these and are able to put them someplace else. The main Addons & mods board will remain as it is now for a week or so so you will be able to fetch your things.

Thanks for reading.

News Archives / June Update 1/6
« on: June 01, 2012, 04:09:06 pm »
Updates for June

Summer times are really starting to come around for most, warm weather, summer breaks and vacations. All we can say to you is that we expect a lot of "Feralhearting" is going to take place as soon as people settle down after long work. Just don't forget about your not so fluffy lives as well! As always we have a monthly update thread ready for you guys that are interested to ensure you didn't miss anything here on the site. Time to scroll down and read more floofs.

Board changes
One of the bigger changes this month if that we've got a completely new Staff Page here on the site. This page will eventually replace the old MOD F.A.Q thread staff list. It can be found by simply clicking the "Staff" text below the banner. This new page will make it a lot easier for new users to get in contact with us, but also for everyone to see the current staff. The page holds links to a certain staff members profile, introduction post about them, but also a link to send them a message on the forum. So if you want to read more about them or just get in contact this is a really great page, and don't forget there's pictures of the staff too! We really hope this will be a welcomed addition to the site.

We've finally remade two of the the threads in the Official Rules & Information board.

How To Report A player
&
Mod F.A.Q

This is to make things more understandable, but also to yet again aid new users. By any means feel free to advise players there if needed. The new how to report thread explains about how to post a report to us here on the site in a nice and easy manner anyone should be able to understand, and the new "Mod FAQ" should bring some answers to new and old players so it wouldn't hurt if you paid the new threads a visit. If you guys have anything you believe should be added to either of this threads, feel free to let us know about it.

As it seems lately, users have completely ignored the rules for the Addons & Mods main board we have in the forum. This has been going on for quite a while and we have now been forced to change the setup of this board in order to save us the work of constantly needing to remove or move threads away from the section. The new rule for this board is that you must be granted permission from an Admin/Mod to have a thread in the main addons & mods board. This also means that we will most likely temporary clean out this section in the close future and start up new in which users must apply to have a creations thread in there, this thread must meet certain criteria. When we are going to clean out this board, and how it's going to happen we will inform you about later on. But a good tip would be if you copied content from your old thread if you plan on keeping the old stuff from it now. No worries though, we will make sure nothing goes lost as long as "you" keep track of any new threads from us regarding this matter.

Events & kewl sturf
We have PLENTY of things to go through this month regarding this subject so keep on reading!

The mapping contest is finally over and we have 3 very floofy winners who deserve their time in the spotlight. The contest was judged on creativity, originality and detail and there was a few that caught the referees eyes and they have our congratulations.

3rd Place!
Firespirit with Crystal Gardens

2nd Place!
Toru with Kloudruk Island

1st place!
Lovely Belle with Crystal Lands

They did all a great effort in this contest and therefor their map threads will be linked here. Toru and Lovely Belles maps can now be seen in the banner as well which is another welcoming change to the boards. And belle, contact me regarding your ribbon and we will set one nice little award up for you. In general we want to thank everyone for joining the map making contest and playing fair, due to the success it's not impossible of us hosting yet another one in the future. Great stuff, now go download the maps already!

Our first MOTS(Members of the season) has now been announced. We have three certain users that seems to be your favorites here on the forums, and these are no one else but.

Cloudfish, Jayfeather55 and Ouuka!
We are really happy to have you guys around on the forum and your activity and helpfulness has not gone unnoticed. You will all receive a MOTS Spring ribbon as well the MOTS status on the forum for the upcoming months, but also made your way into the Hall of fame thread, all to show our appreciation of your presence around here. Congratulations guys.

As the mapping contest has reached it's end, we are ready to boot up yet another contest for you guys to participate in. This time around it's nothing but an...... Avatar contest!. Right now we are gathering up nominations from the members here in the community before making the final vote, so let your opinion out regarding who has the best avatar on the forum.

Side note
That seems to be the most of the news for now, we hope to see most of you online both here and in the game of course the upcoming month. Just remember to keep it clean and purdy. Thanks for reading and keeping up to date. We will post again soon.

If you guys got any questions feel free to PM the Mods here on the forum.

Thanks~ Redrawr outz

MOD F.A.Q
Below you will find frequently asked questions regarding MODS in the game and the forum, what they do and how they work. All to make things just a little easier to understand for those who seeks to know more.

So what is a moderator?
A moderator is usually someone who helps the community with various tasks, these are here to keep track of the users and their behavior making sure they keep the rules that apply, along with keeping things organized and up to date. They have powers on either the game or forum, and can use these to engage with players not behaving or in need of assistance. You can say MODS are really the ones trying to keep things in motion and set the lines required for "you", the users. Moderation work is done both on the Site/forum, as it's done within the actual game, and tasks can vary. Their main purpose is really to help as much as possible and put up a good example for other users within the community.

How do I become a moderator?
To be fair, asking rarely gets you anywhere regarding this matter. But since the question has been asked many times in the past, and still occur, we will try to explain as well as possible, but also a few things you should think of. The staff team consists of those who will keep track on potential users that could be seen suiting as a MOD, but just because you think you'd make a great addition as one or the fact that you'd want to help, doesn't mean you will become one. Moderators have powers and responsibilities they need to be careful of and use well, so only those who are trusted enough will be granted a MOD title.

Here's a few things that's common for a MOD:
- Preferably active both within the game and on the forum.
- They've shown themselves as helpful towards the community and game and has a great interest.
- They're known to and have done positive actions in this community and game.
- Are well aware of the game/forum rules and has stayed rather clear from bans and other warnings in the past.
- Know their way around the game fairly well, both inside and outside.
- Is contactable online outside of the game
- Preferred if they are above or at 16 years of age.

Even though this list explains some of the things well, it still doesn't mean a user following these lines would become a mod. But if you behave well you might get offered a MOD position. If you work on your own accord and show you want to help without the soul reason of "being" a mod, then you most likely have good chances.

Other facts about MODs:
- Staff are volunteers. This is not a full time job.
- Staff should not be judged soley on forum post and or in-game activity, there are many other responsibilities (background or otherwise) that staff are expected to attend to.
⁃ FH is not other game communities therefore staff should not be expected to behave like staff from other communities nor should they be compared to such. Every game staff evolves around the needs and niches of their own respective communities, thus every staff team is different.
⁃ MOTS does not guarantee you a spot on the staff team, just as users who have never been nominated as MOTS could become staff
⁃ Staff promotion to positions with higher responsibility (such as admin & or global moderator) are most often progressive and granted upon the individual’s ability to manage the increased responsibilities expected within these positions. Regardless of seniority admin and or global moderator positions should not be expected as a given as they are roles assigned due to certain qualities not a reward.
⁃ Staff are not selected on the basis of friendship but rather necessity. Quality of an individual’s personality and traits are valued over shear skills as skills can be attained through training with time.
⁃ Staff that retired on good terms and remained in good terms while out of position are guaranteed their former position back to the team so long as they’ve proven that they still can manage the time and responsibilities expected of their allotted position.
- If a staff member isn’t allowed back due to not being on good terms the staff is not obligated to disclose the reasons to the public community.
- Staff should be treated with the same amount of respect as any other member of the community. That means that all rules apply when interacting with staff through any medium of FH.
- Staff must adhere to the same rules of discipline as the rest of the community.

How do I get in contact with a MOD or Admin?
There's a few ways to get in contact with a mod, but the most simple way would probably be by visiting this page here, it will bring you to the staff page of the site along with links to Admins/mods profiles. But you can also use the online user list located on the bottom of the forum and click on their name (Admins/mods have coloured names).

What do the different ADMIN/MOD titles mean?
Admins - Are the ones in charge of the majority of the site and staff and their work is to not only help as any other mod, but also to help the rest of the staff when needed, keeping things structured.
Global Moderators - Are moderators granted some more powers and responsibilities around the forum to help and assist with the staff work, but also the ones that moderators can turn to if admins are not around.
Moderators - Are the ones defines the word moderator. They move and lock threads around the boards, suggest things within the staff, keep users within the boundaries and do what we see as moderating.

What is a kick, and what is a ban? (Game)
Kicks within the game works as warnings. If you're given a kick it's for a reason and an in-game MOD probably spotted you breaking some sort of rule for the game, and in the majority of cases the reason is stated for you as you get booted off the game. By then it's usually a good call if you stop with what you were doing and learn from the warning you got, cause if you get back in the game to repeat your actions or mouth back, you will most likely face a ban instead. Bannings on the other hand are much more direct and harsher since it restricts a user from getting back in the game for a certain amount of time given. The times given for breaking rules can vary depending on the case itself, and the mod giving it, but if you receive one you did something wrong, and should check up on the rules to ensure it doesn't happen again.

Can a MOD get fired?
They can, but it's nothing that happens too often exactly. The only way a MOD would get fired would be if they misbehaved greatly towards the staff or community, or even abused their powers to such an extent that the Admins and the rest of the staff would be needed to take action. Activity could also be a factor if a staff member is away for very long time without letting the rest of the staff know.

Can I report a MOD?
If seen needed, you are able to report a mods actions to an Admin and explain your situation along with proof showing this, since the MODs shouldn't abuse their powers or walk over their own rules. The MODs should know what they are doing though, and if you're trying to frame a MOD because you hold a grudge from earlier events you could be the one getting in trouble instead.

Are mods real people or computers?
Mods are people just like you and me that need sleep, food, and nuzzles.

A MOD has banned me, what do I do?
If you got banned it's most likely for a good reason and you should look up on the game rules here. You should never post threads on the boards asking to be unbanned since this is against the board rules. If you by any reason must explain your situation and show you are not guilty for any rule breaking, please contact ONE moderator here on the forum via message function and we will look into the matter. If you try to lie about a ban given and make up your own stories we will find out eventually though, and in that case you might face an extended ban instead.

How come MODs don't respond to me in the game?
The mods in the game are there to keep their eyes after rule breakers and inappropriate behavior. If you need to get in contact with a mod or need assistance regarding any matter you might have when it comes to the game, you should contact them on the staff with a message, or possibly post in the help boards.
