[[ Google says it doesn't exist but thank you for zee definition c: ]]

The name rung in her ears as she glanced down towards the floor or several moments, taking in who she just helped and remembering yet again what clan he was in and what (and the only) relative that despised the clan greatly more than the stain upon his family name. The name itself was familiar but never were samurais or lords responded by their first names and she couldn't place why it was. She should've thought it throguh but yet again, even her father would've help a man who helped him. A monkey scratches the back of the monkey that groomed it first.

However, the maiden bowed her head again with a smile, unsure whether or not to leave the premise but she'll still say her goodbyes as it was necessary. "I thank you yet again for that distant Lord of the Itchionian clan." She folded her hands in front of her with her eyes closed but a smile present on her face.

[[Haha, I guess google doesn't talk southern, because that's a southern-more term x3]]

"Oh, but it is I who should thank you." Xia relied, a bit dazed as he gazed at the maiden with a smile. It was impossible for him to gather his thoughts, they were all mixed up. Like as to how he could fall in love to this maiden of the enemy clan from seeing her once. Absolutely a wonderful thing to happen. Just wonderful. "I believe you should get back to your home now..." He added, but reached in to a storing section of his vestment, pulling out a small locket of silver engraved with ancient Itchionian symbols. "Take this." He said, passing down the locket which once was his father's gift to his mother, who gave it to him. His smile stayed to his as he began to back up.

[[ That's interesting ^^. And pfff, those comments regarding Xia's infatuation. It made me laugh xD! ]]

Her face completely went pink at his comment, this was seemingly odd for her as she never expected that for someone. Especially at the fact that she wasn't aware that the man before her was lovestruck heavily towards anyone but her, a feeling that was new and would be refreshing if she returned the same emotion (but it will over time..) "I should be returning to my post," she agreed towards her statement but she watched with curious eyes to see him shuffling throguh his vest to pull out a small trinket. She nodded her head accepting the locket but knowing that she couldn't wear it for it'll draw too much attention. It had the symbol of the enemy clan but she'll appreciate it if she placed it up in her room. "I thank you yet again, this is surely much. I will appreciate it in private to prevent..wandering eyes." She hoped that the last comment would still show her appreciation of the gift and of its beauty. "How gorgeous," she muttered under her breath as she looked down at he hand.

Hua glanced upwards towards the man backing away but her face had a permanent blush on as she returned a smile but her eyes were opened, a truly sincere smile. However, she turned slowly and walked towards her house but occasionally glanced over her shoulder to see the man.

[[I am wonderful with making a simple thing of love as funny as could be. Heck, I could make a sentence about a blank wall exciting. xD]]

Seeing her glance back, Xia took it as an opportunity to wave goodbye, before he finally turned around, his cheeks lightly blushed at last. Walking back to his horse, he quickly mounted and heaved his heel in to its side. The horse whinnied and reared up majestically, before galloping away. Xia watched the scenery of the village buzz by and away, until finally he was out of the town. His thoughts fluttered with the thought of the maiden, though he knew he could not speak of it to anyone. He was a king, a Lord. He could do anything he wanted! But even so, it wouldn't be proper to say of it. It was an enemy maiden, afterall...

[[ He can always do a Robin Hood.]]

Seeing the cast of blush upon the samurai's face, a soft note escaped her somewhat of a humming nose as she entered the house but found to her surprise, that her father was moved towards the back garden of the house and thus gave her time to place away the locket. She dashe4d over to her room and placed the trinket into a cabinet next to her futon as she sighed as she sat onto the bed but she opened it and looked at it again with amusement in eyes. Hua, however, closed the cabinet and darted over to the windowsill seeing as how she left the teapot there.

Her hands grabbed it delicately as she rushed over towards the  tea room and settled it down as she sat herself down onto her knees and awaited for her fathers' return. Still, the  thought of the kind lord floated in the back of her mind.

[[Mmk.~]]

Sitting at the low-jade table of the living room, peering over at the crackling fireplace. Xia thought of the maiden back in the other village. Dazed, he rose from his place and swaggered out the palace door, his eyes affixed on the bustling town. Walking over to where his horse rested, he quickly mounted, and drove off in to an alley. Unseen, the king slipped out of the village with his horse, addressed in his usual attire stolen from the British. Shen thundered in the enemy town, huffing breathlessly as it slowed to a stride at the gate. Xia looked around the barren city, focusing on every sound, certain it would be safe here to visit.

"Lord (Insert last name of clan's leader here), there is needed protection in the front," the head of the Sek family spoke as she walked at the side of the village's patron that was noble, wise, and yet at times naive in which the actions he took for the village. Vital decisions were usually missed and placed the whole clan within mishap and troubled times such as the Itchionian's occupation near or sometimes into their village. The back of his mind was wandering to the thought of his daughter, Hua, and noted how she wasn't present at the tea room when he checked in to see if she was still waiting for him while speaking to the servants. She was possibly in her room and praying. Possibly. The adviser stroked the head of the horse that he had as the village was alive after the daily patrol had left and thus, they were able to resume living their normal lives and completed everyday rituals. The horse, a caramel colored one, neighed softly as its ears flickered as he trotted right beside the lord's stead but his eyes glanced about the crowds and noted the traditional uniform in which every villager wore. Similar to that of his late lover at times but never identical seeing as how how Hua ironically did and even placed flowers in her hair when in training.. Too much similarities.

His gaze went over to the sample temple in which he caught eye of his daughter and his horse whined loudly, wishing to continue moving forward. The distant calls of the Lord made him remain his thoughts as he softly hit the horse on the side to resume trotting.

The maiden was standing near the cracked bell present within the opened temple as she was finally in her training session with her hair braided into two separate braids but were combined into one with several flowers placed into her hair but it looked rather homely compared to the others maidens around with her.  With her hand lightly pressing a damped and steamed towel against the bell, she began to daily cleansing of the bell in order to keep the spirits present in the scared grounds pleased for they wee honored with a clean environment. As several of the maidens chattered about, one of them called Hua over with a rather odd smirk on her face. The bastard child turned over her shoulder with a shy smile as she softly spoke, "S-sorry, I'm on duty." Several mocking laughs could be heard on the courtyard but the maiden would only resume polishing the bell while pressing herself against it, making sure no stain was left and that any birds that decided to decorate it will not have their markings on either.

Realizing how alive the town actually was, Xia knew he had to do what he always did. Despite he had to find the maiden, he also had to keep a reputation. Pulling on the horse's reins so that it would rear on command, Xia held on tight. The loud clop as the horse returned proper balance slicked the air. A threatening glare cast from both him and his warhorse would glance to everyone around him as the horse clopped mightily in to the village. He wasn't going to speak the warning, instead, he'd let the stance of it warn them.
