There was silence within the village, what was gone about? Has the rivaling clan finally made their abrupt presence and decided to vanquish their lives? The adviser glanced upward with a stoic expression as he tighten his grip on the reigns as the horse silenced its whining. Xioing Sek had noted the appearance of the boy king, Xia Mang, had come unannounced and his arrival only caused several of the villagers to flee to their homes as their own leader backed away on horseback and allowed the adviser to take his place, not wanting to confront Xia. Remaining silent, he glazed over towards the temple but seeing as how it was far past him, he couldn't see his daughter. His face already covered with worry, the man gritted his teeth.


The maiden, Hua Sek, was still keeping herself busy while polishing the bell that was to toll when the the sun sets but she heard the flocking of several older maidens towards the gate. She glanced over her shoulder to hear the excited whispers of the other females that gave her no insight as to what was going on. Some of the younger maidens in training, eight or nine, showed fear on their faces and spoke of the "evil king," that was walking throguh town. She sighed softly, placed down the towel next to the almost shining bell, and went over to the three girls with ridiculously odd hairstyles of the era. She placed her arms around the two of them with one being near her chest as she rolled them up into a hug.

"Come now, let's see the flowers.." Her voice trailed off as all three of the girls pushed her arms out of the way and darted towards the flower garden in the back of the temple. She softly adjusted the flowers in her braid, with her back faced towards the entrance of the temple. She was beginning to move onto the stone path that led to the garden.

Xia stared at the adviser, digging his foot in to his steed's side so it would trot forward. Gritting his teeth, he knew not how he would find that lovely maiden, with all the 'security' this town was keeping. But suddenly, an idea stirred up in his mind. "You shalt gather all the maidens, one I shall take prisoner. Fail to do so, and I will send my army to destroy everyone one of your soldiers." He said abruptly to the adviser, glancing past the man to the lord of the enemy tribe. He felt he cold not fail this way, but there would be a lot of explanations to deliver.
