}{ Over The Emperor's Blood }{

The first story begins... "The Son of Evil"...

"Alas! The great Emperor Jakuni is dead! His assassin unknown!"
The cries filled the kingdom's street. Citizens pushed out of their houses, still tired from the hour of night it was, to hear the news that their cold-blooded emperor was dead. "Though he sleeps in the palace of Hades, his blood runs on as the prophecy foretold! Once he hath named a son Crimson, whom was shunned and banished. Identity changed! We shall search for this son, and prosecute him at once!" The news carved everyone in the crowd, and they all turned to each other and talked in groups until at last a voice rang out from a dark man in the back. "And what will the prosecution be of? A death sentence? A life's imprisonment?" The scoff was returned with the clear words; "Prince Crimson shall slaughter his mother and take the throne. That is the prosecution." Astonished gasps rippled the crowd, but many of the men looked eager, as if they wanted to trick the town in to believing they were Crimson not only for the power... but for the ability to overthrow Empress Tetra.
Would the true and innocent Prince Crimson ever be found? Or his reputation soiled before it even began?

The Classes

The Young
Under the laws, the children do not have a class other than being young. This lasts until hey reach 15, when they are expected to marry and begin their own family. At the age of five, they are brought before the Dynasty's representatives and their future is decided. The Poor class have a 50% chance of their child being taken away and sent to work somewhere. Sometimes they get a normal place to work as an apprentice, other become apprentices in the Emporium, and some are left behind for the Scoundreff, where they are sold as a slave or sent to a brothel, regardless their age, unless they are lucky enough to become a marketer or assassin. At home, they get to work with their parents on their farm, in their business, or whatever tasks around the house they have. If the parents do not have a business or farm, they become an apprentice at the age of ten to a business, however they only work during the day. At age of fifteen they are released from their bounds, apprentices can take over their mentor's work so he/she may retire, or their parents work, or they may marry without such and start there own business/farm, or go to the Emporium or House of Gods to inquire about joining those ranks. Rarely do they choose to go to the Scoundreff.

The Scoundrels
Assassins, slave-masters, brothel-workers, black market traders, thieves, murderers, refuge convicts, and other dark people make up this class that takes up 10% of the population. As sicking as it is, they stay hidden in the Scoundreff, hoping to lure in some new members. Once you become one of them, you cannot go back. They are all together, and if you turn against them, leave or breathe a word about them, they will unite and slaughter you. There is no going back from these people, and the Dynasty has given up trying to fix the problem of them. Every time they try, they lose people. Despite the small percent it takes up, it is quite a large community, and their bonds keep them undefeated. You can kill one, but it is impossible to kill them all, even if you try one-by-one.

The Poor
Their features become much older quickly from the stress of working hard have enough money to pay their taxes and keep their land. They usually work on farms, never having time to clean the dirt off their face and hands, other times they work in small stores, tailor shops, and other places that do not make much profit, and take up 30% of the population. There life is hard, and they are looked down upon greatly. To make things worse, their children are likely to be taken away for "unfit conditions", or to "give them a better future", as though they are mocking the class. Many times, the Dynasty attempts to lower the amount of Poor people they have. Not in the good way, such as helping them. The closest to help they receive is being put out of their misery; Once a year they gather one hundred poor people, whether they have someone relying on them back home or not, and push them into a ditch. While the poor people cower on the ground, they kill them however they please. They shoot them with guns, arrows, throws knives and spears at them, and then bury them, alive or dead, right in the ditch. The life of the poor is never easy, and against the community they have no faces. All they have is the others of their class, and revolting is useless; They'd all be killed. They wouldn't care if they killed a million people... They would shoot them all down. The poor mean nothing to the community.

The Citizens
Married couples, land-owners, business-owners, or anyone with a network of/over 50,000 dollars make it in to the citizen class. They are your basic people you see every day, doing well in life. But simply well. Life could be better. They do not receive honors like the higher classes, they are not allowed to have a trial if prosecuted are are usually hung whether innocent or guilty, which is how many innocent die. They may seem well, but they still live in subtle fear of what could happen to them in the blink of an eye, as the Dynasty only sees good support in the richer. Their class contributes to 40% of the kingdom's population, and are quite widespread. Their houses are only moderately sized, and they yearn to be apart of the higher class.

The Gladiators
Dressed in the traditional robes outside of battle, there is always a gap in the cloth to reveal their right shoulder, to show the olive branch marking that shows their ranking. Due to the fact that the kingdom became feared and barely had any battles, the Dynasty's gladiators were sent to the greatly build Emporium. It used to be a dome for sports, races, and horse-displays, but soon became a blood-stained battle arena for the gladiators whom nearly killed each other for the enjoyment of the kingdom. In battle, they always wear samurai armor, polished and shining, and have to get it cleaned daily to wash off the blood. Sometimes a gladiator never returns from the show, and the kingdom never notices it. It sounds like a dirty job, but after awhile the Gladiators begin to enjoy their destiny.

The Wealthy
Taking up 20% of the population, the rich dress in fine robes and live in large houses, aside from other properties and places. They must have a network of 100,000 dollars to get in to this class, and make more money a day than the poor could wish for in a year. They feed from the lower classes, each getting 10% of the people's taxes. And with the amount of taxes collected, they could get rich with just their share. They are a very strong class, and receive many benefits for their rank. They may hold a trial, and even if guilty, they are rarely prosecuted. Even if they were to be, they would simply bribe the Dynasty and be set free. They often have a good connection with the dynasty and other high ranks, and not just by having tea and meals with them, as well as getting to hold a place of the Dynasty's bench during important decisions. Sometimes they bribe them to rig the Emporium's system. Other times they bribe the priests to falsify an omen or prophecy to stir up the community. They think they can play God with the entire kingdom, and with their riches, it is sad to say that they can.

The Religious
All the priests, and monks, the high-ranked devotes, and other members of the Clergy make up the class known as the Religious. They dwell near the House of Gods, and worship the ancient gods strongly. They will sit for hours at an altar, praying to the lords, or practicing ceremonies and spells native to their religion. They rarely cast evil spells or turn corrupt unless something terribly awful occurs, as they are peaceful by nature. They respect the poor, and cast dark looks upon the Wealthy's actions, and search for an end to the gladiator battles. However they keep these perspectives secret, as they can be slaughtered for their thoughts about the actions of the society. They are often seen speaking with members of the Young class when in public, trying to create a generation of good energy and steady believers in the gods. Though  they do not expect the new generation to join their ranks, they wish for them to show the half of society whom do not believe in the gods that they, too, can do so.

Good idea.

Tetra Kesamu
"Empress Tetra," a small voice from one of the maids asked. "What do you plan to do now that your marriage has been broken by death?" Tetra looked at the maid with confusion in her brown eyes. "Well, what would you like to do?" She asked after a blank pause. The maid tipped her head to the side, complete dumb-founded by the Empress' reply. "No, no, that's not how it works. We'll just, take you to some place to dine." The maid sputtered out, taking the hand of the Empress and leading her down the red path out of the Dynasty's castle. "That sounds like a great idea." Tetra replied at last, walking like a pet beside the maid, who lead her down and loaded her up on to the majestic three-horse wagon.
"Where to?" The driver questioned, and the maid quickly replied in the place of Tetra. "Just take her to any high-ranked diner." The driver nodded and whipped the horses, and they were off. Tetra simply sat there blankly, leaned back against the seat as she stared out at the side where the buildings and wilderness passed her sight. After a long drive, they arrived at the Golden Dragon, where the driver lead the Empress to the door.
