Night's Art and OC Progression over Time~

So I though this might be an interesting thing to do! I'm posting images of not only how my art style progressed over time, but also Nightingale's design progression in one~ I'll probably post more non-Nightingale related images later~ <3

I organized these images by year, from OLDEST TO NEWEST! Please tell me what you think! I'd love to hear what you have to say :3 I messed with a bunch of styles, so thats probably why each drawing looks so different than the other, I still don't have a solid style.

You guys can see how disproportionate my early drawings are XD I didn't have Photoshop (my first digital art program) until maybe late 2011, so most of these are sketch drawings. Though I'll also put up digitals. Personally I think my hand drawn work is better, though I suck at coloring traditionally, so yeah.

P.S. - ALL the big cat/lion/panther/leopard drawings you see in here right now are early concepts of my OC Nightingale, the rest are random~

2010 - Age 13/14


2011 - Age 14/15


2012 - Age 15/16 Pretty sure it was the end of this year that I got a preset made for I.T.


2013 - Age 16/17 - Year I made Night as a preset for the first time! Did not draw her much otherwise.


2014 - Age 17/18 - Still thinking about keeping green eyes, or go back to blue?

X3 Thanks so much! I had been drawing since waaay before 2010, but 2010 was the earliest I can find of drawings of Nightingale, so I just started there~ I have been wanting to make something like this for a while though XD, even just for myself, I think its so cool to look back at your art and see how you've grown. Maybe later I'll find some of my REALLY old stuff and post that too hehe~

XD thank yewwww <3 I always tried my best on my character stuffs ouo, and you can draw~! you just have to practice, I mean you improve fairly quickly if you draw often, my style would change signifcantly every year, and it got more exciting every time o3o~

>u< Thank you!! I'm excited people actually seeing these sort of things, I've always wanted to share this heheh. I would love to teach you but since I just kinda developed skill over time I wouldn't know what else to say other than practice :'D I just practiced others styles until I could do it without looking, and just do that on and on until I could make my own style...
