"Today marks the day where the human race advances," The president, Hugh Baldwin, spoke quite loudly. "Where women are going to be kept within doors, and only there." The shock and anger could be felt from around the United States within every room, state, building, etc., all from the women who were watching the broadcast. "The women will be kept in three types of cells, only for different severities," He continued, sternly and quite forward. "The lowest severity will be kept only inside the common household and is not allowed outside. The medium severity will be kept only in jail cells - any who escape will be arrested." He paused, letting it sink into the brains of the viewers. "And those who's levels are the highest are going to be put in padded rooms, and any felons who escape will be killed on spot." With that, he left the podium. Silence was heavy on the television and the viewers, until multiple men smashed into homes, taking the wives and teenagers and small children away from their families, taking the women already within cell walls, taking every woman and girl to the forest where no-one could find them until they were able to go home - if able to go home.

It's been two years since, only two, but the United States' plans had spread world wide, and soon, every country had been doing the same thing. Putting up the stations where they kept the women of the two last severities in almost every forest, desert, and a few even in the ocean. Some women are released for only a few hours, left to wander the streets and having no rights and men having no rules against taking advantage of the women left to roam. It's decreased some human population, though some countries have a "breeding program" - just like animals. Despite being treated mostly like animals, they do get proper care - atleast the two first severities, these two severities are considered wellfed.

Rules

1 - Women and men are both able to be role-played, though it is more recommended that you choose a woman.
2 - Swearing is totally fine with me, but I don't want it in every other sentence.
3 - Realistic characters and actions. Sure, this isn't the most realistic role-play, I still want you to have the most realistic characters possible.
4 - You can break the law all you want, if you're a woman, by escaping. I really don't care, but remember the first post - those consequences still hold.
5 - Sex or giving birth is not allowed within the role-play area - you may bring it to PM or skip over it. You may not fade it to black or hide it in a spoiler.
6 - Literacy is a must during the role-play posts. You can be as loose as you want OoCly, but you have to be IC.
7 - Within this role-play, there will be no gore. It's just not allowed, but your character can get bloody and fight, etc. all they want.
8 - Don't argue via OoC, it's really annoying and no-one wants to hear it. Take it to a PM.
9 - You cannot do anything - besides basic touching, etc. - to another person's character without permission.
10 - You may have up to four characters - make sure you can handle them before you make them.

Severity levels are at a two; kept within a jail.
Hazel was considered sweet before the whole scenario happened, and she found herself growing colder and colder within the weeks. She can be pretty bold and straightforward, all while being completely blunt. Towards those she considers close, she likes to sugarcoat things, hide them from them, only seeing the options as "being protective". She's not the brightest of souls, but also not the dumbest - she plans on escaping, and even has a majorly faulty plan that she works on. She's never been considered "good" and hasn't been let out into the city close by in her two years, but can be a total sweetheart to those she considers close.
She had a pretty average life, nothing too dramatic happened.

She is around 5'9'' and estimated around 145lbs. Her complexion is fairly pale and smooth, but not flawless. She has deep obsidian stands of hair that reach to the middle of her back with bangs that are quite symmetrical that come close to covering her eyes at times. Her hair is usually either up in a high ponytail with a few curled strands hanging down or sleekly down straight. Her eyes shine a brilliant shade of cyan and are outlined in a decent coat of eyeliner and dark navy eye shadow. Audrey has a couple scars. Two deep stitched gashes lay on her  upper left cheek and another long one runs along her right shin. Because she is very cautious appearance wise, she may dab make up over her cheek scars to hide it. She also has numerous fake gemstones and piercings on her face to draw attention away from the scars and wears stockings to hide her leg injury. Her clothing choices is a stereotypical Gothic style, normally wear a short black laced dress with fingerless gloves and knee high laced boots with stockings, sometimes accompanied by elegant looking silver jewelry.

- She is kept within the boundaries of an acquaintance's household.

Personality:
Even before the outbreak, she has always been that of a mischievous rascal masked behind a sweet and innocent looking face. Before the law against women were instated, she made a living out of thievery with her discrete stealth skills and cunning nature, though only did so from those higher up in society. From this practice, she is a very sociable soul, quite the white liar and a bit of a seductive flirt to get what she wants from men.  She is a rather kind soul though may quite sarcastic and playful with those she knows. Audrey loves to tease men especially, normally degrading their masculinity. She has a morbid sense of humor and doesn't hesitate to show it. Audrey won't hesitate to stand up against injustices even if she is the only one with those opinions. For those she holds dear, she will go to quite the extremity to ensure there safety. The girl has a phobia of tarantulas, drowning and heights.

History:
She had a fairly normal childhood, growing up as the only child to a well off couple. Though much of this changed since the law was enacted. The moment of the announcement, her father led his wife and her away from there house, hiding in the shadows of the slums hoping they wouldn't be discovered. For her preteen years, that is where most of her life was, hiding and fleeing from authority and sneaking around to do the littlest tasks. The group has joined a small underground resistance that had formed at the time that was able to support many of the women and children who were in hiding, until the day a spy among the resistance ratted them out. The place was swarmed by authority, many of the women taken into custody or slain for not being compliant. Her father had remained a stubborn ox during the raid and was killed trying to protect his wife and child. The two were then separated, her mother believing to be executed and Audrey was to be taken to the 3rd severity until an unfamiliar man had interfered, telling those who had seized her that he would take her into his care to make sure she wouldn't get into trouble. The men agreed and handed over ownership of the confused anguished filled young girl to the man. The two have stayed residence in his mid income house near the heart of the city and the man has made the girl into a housewife for himself even with the vast age difference. The girl is held on a tight string, forced to do as he's told as repayment for 'saving her' the day she would have been sent to a higher severity.

- [Residence]:She lives in a low income household with an elder man by the name of Arthur Pennington and is to act like a maid for the man with the threat that he'll send her to the 3rd Severity if she doesn't.
- [Family]: Erika Ramirz (Mother) and Shaun Cascini (Father) are her only blood relations since she is an only child. Her parents are no longer in her life anymore though.
- [Relationships]:  None. She has made few friends throughout her lifetime and has never been in a relationship. Many of her acquaintances were only short time friendships acquired through her youth.
- [Interests]:  One must note her intense love for music. She always has her very first violin, a small outdated ipod and earbuds with her, sometimes with a blindfold. Whenever asked why, she always states that music is one of her only passions and listening/playing with a blindfold on only enriches the sound and her concentration.

Roleplay Sample:
Audrey toured the streets rather slowly, glancing side to side at her surroundings. Her bright gaze scavenged the area for a suitable place to strike. The wind blew a teasing gale that flipped her curled bangs in front of her face and readjusted them into place out of her face. She blended in quite easily with the heard of people flooding the sidewalks. Her target was a collector's shop she had seen down the main street not too long ago. It would be easy to snag something of value and make a profit some such a small store. She had done it probably hundreds of times, so much that it has became a little hobby of hers that was merely a game. It was nearly noon by the time she reached the same street as her target was at. She fixed her hair once she saw the store sign in sight and clasped her palms together lightly as she opened the glass door to the small pawn shop. The sole store keeper watched her come in and spouted the generic greeting he most likely said to everyone, "Welcome to Jerry's Pawn Shop. Looking for anything in particular today?" Audrey smiled politely and shrugged her shoulders, "How about you show me around a bit. I'm sure I'll find something I like." The man nodded a bit, "Sure thing," as he placed the bills down he was sorting in his register back in and stepped forth, taking the girl around a tour of the store. As the older man was gesturing around the place, the girl narrowed her eyes in concentration as she began to survey what was in plain sight, plotting how she would acquire a decent jewel. She drew a hand on the counter and caress her thin fingers around  gold necklace that laid not too far from her grasp when the man's back was turned and withdrew it into her bag, just in time as the man turned back around. A sly smile crossed her face with her succession and spewed false friendly dialogue with the man, managing to make him chuckle a bit at her words. As they toured, the girl managed to snatch several other expensive looking oddities with almost completely discretion. Once they reached the beginning of the store, the gentlemen glanced toward the girl expectantly, "So, anything you like?" Audrey nodded, going up to one of the counters though reached in her bag without his notice and flicked a button on her phone to make it sound like it was ringing. "Oh I'm sorry. Give me a second." She reached at her side withdrawing the phone and murmured, " I have to take this. It's important." She held it to her ear, as she spoke a hello into it and began trailing outside to pretend to take the call. She stopped her generic dialogue once she was out of the shop's sight and turned back smirking slightly to herself, "I swear that was way too easy."
