Invalid token?
« on: February 24, 2013, 01:31:22 pm »
Alright, a friend of mine that I used to play feralheart with has just messaged me on facebook that she doesn't remember her password. And has done all the requirements to submit the token, but it only ends up with 'invalid token'. She asked me if I post asking for help, is there anyway to fix the 'invalid token' situation?

Oh and her user is ShallowBlood I believe.

Hm... I'm not sure exactly what this 'invalid token' thing is regarding a forgotten password. However, when she tried to login again, did she click the "Forgot your password?" link? It should send her an email that will allow her to reset her account password.

An Invalid Token is basically when you can't connect into a server. There isn't a way to fix an Invalid token because it's telling you that there are too many people in one server. However, you did say that she forgot her password, so resetting her password will do the trick if she still can't remember it.

An e-mail should be sent after once your friend has created a new password.

That is what I'm trying to explain, She sends an email to receive a token to get her password, but each time she enters it. it says 'invalid token'

Do you mean that she has trouble entering her email?

If so, have her check her internet connection, or maybe try entering her email from a different device.

No not her email, she enters it correctly~
Its entering the token, She has copied and pasted, typed it in etc. and it will still redirect her to the same page say it's an invalid token.

I really do not know...Maybe you might have to contact Red(redlinelies) because she should really write down her password. Maybe red can help.

She registered at least two years ago, doubt she would remember her password. But if anyone else doesn't have any ideas, then I'll have a chance at contacting Red~

Hm. Well, in that case, Black.Rose is probably right.

Have her (or yourself if she can't log into the forum) contact a staff member here:
http://www.feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=28&Itemid=52

Explain the situation, and perhaps provide a link to this thread, and they should be able to pinpoint the issue.
Best of luck, floof~

I remembered my first account getting a invalid token and no matter what I did to try to get back in, it won't let me in cause I haven't used my account for a very long period of time. And I have done the reset my password thingy, so chances are that the staff probably got rid of the account on the forums. I suggest talking to the staff members to see if they can get it back
