Request/Find Meshes / Millenium Items Mesh Request
« on: November 12, 2012, 10:04:40 pm »
I don't know if this is the right place to put this request. If it's not, I appologize.
Also, I don't know if these items have been made yet, or not. If they were, send me a link. If not, I would like to request that someone make these items to be worn on characters. If I could make these items I would, but I don't know a thing about making wearable items.  :-[

Notes:
1. Some of these items can be worn around a character's neck.
2. The Millenium Eye is ment to go in a character's eye.
3. Some items can be held in the characters mouth.... and I have no idea how a character can hold onto the scale. I don't think making the scale is necessary though.  ^^"
4. If you need to do some research on these items, by all means go for it.

Here are a few reference pictures I pulled off the web.

Egyptian Millenium Items from Yu-Gi-Oh

Picture of what they look like in the anime

3D models of the items

That is all I have to request so far. If these have already been made and are posted on the forums somewhere, let me know. Because, I can't find any anywhere.

You may be wondering, "What do you mean by that?"  :-\

Well to put it this way, lately some of my characters in Feral-Heart maps have been getting attention all because of the way I spelled their names. For example, I have a fox character that I called "Kopper". Now I spelled her name with a "K" instead of a "C" for a reason. I was NOT trying to spell out the word, "Copper". I meant to spell it as "Kopper". I got that name from a little doggie I used to own. However, some random people have come up to me and blurt out "That's not how you spell copper, you illiterate idiot!" or "Copper is spelled with a C not a K. NAME FAIL!!!"  >:(
I try to explain it to them that it was spelled with a "K" on purpose, some appologize while others just "roll their eyes" and call me illiterate. Spelling a name a different way does NOT make someone illiterate! It makes the name somewhat unique. I like giving my characters unique names that you don't see very often around FH... spelling them a different way is one way I do it. There are several names that can be spelled different ways.

I also have a warrior cat character with a different name that some people have harrassed me over. I have a queen-rank cat with the name of CoffeeCream, and some of these so called "warrior cat experts" have come up and told me... "A cat would no NOTHING about coffee or cream! NAME FAIL!!" Often times I tell them that this character used to be a house-pet at one time with the name of "Coffee". It usually shuts them up.... and I get to keep my awesome name ^^

So the question is, should people be harrassing other people over the names of their characters? I think NOT. If you think they missplled the name on their character, think AGAIN! It may be spelled like that for a reason. IF they did spell it incorectly by mistake, give them a helpfull and polite suggestion on how to spell it correctly.
Do say: "Excuse me? Did you mean to spell it like that? If not, the correct way to spell it is ......"
DON'T say: "You moron, you spelled ..... all WRONG! Do it like this.....!!"   That will only cause trouble and tension.

Besides, there is nothing wrong with someone wanting to name their character something different from everyone elses. I see alot of common names like, Shadow, Raven, Lilly, Angel, Sarah, etc, etc. I have seen some people with names that can be spelled in different ways... like Kristen: it can be spelled like Christan, Kristan, Cristan, etc. Or Jacualin: Jaquallyn, Jacualynn, Jaquallin, and so on and so forth. But I've seen some players harrass each other over it. "It should be spelled like this..." "No, it should be spelled like this!..." What does it matter?! -.-

**The only character names that people should REALLY worry about are the inappropriate, rule-breaking names. I have seen some players give their characters really nasty names that were really offensive and considered against the rules.  :o I won't give a list of what names I have seen, but you get my point.**

All in all, the way names are spelled, pronounced, etc, does not matter to me. If you want to name you character something unique and original, I say go for it. Don't let others tell you how you should spell it or what it should be. It ain't up to them, its up to YOU. After all, it is your character, you made it so you call it whatever you want (as long as it's appropriate).  ;)

Yours Truly, Alizarin

Enough with the ranting, let's talk about unique character names. Do you have any character names that are made up, of another language, or spelled another way? What kind of names have you come up with your characters?  :D

Discussion Board / A Common Question About the Fox
« on: September 06, 2012, 11:16:47 pm »
I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I had to post it somewhere.

Lately in FeralHeart, some people around me have been asking me or some of my friends if the fox is really a canine or something else. Some people have told me that it is more realted to the cat instead of the dog. When I was in my fox RP, some warrior cats were around us and a random wolf came up and said "Why do you cats and foxes even fight? Don't you know that you are both related to each other?" Then the whole thing turned into a big argument on what family the fox belonged to.
If you are wondering the same thing, I do have an answer all based on research.

Fox
Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Chordata
Class: Mammalia
Order: Carnivora
Family: Canidae
Genus: Vulpes
Species: V. Vulpes

*Compared to other canines

Grey Wolf
Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Chordata
Class: Mammalia
Order: Carnivora
Family: Canidae
Genus: Canis
Species: Canis lupus

Coyote
Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Chordata
Class: Mammalia
Order: Carnivora
Family: Canidae
Genus: Canis
Species: Canis latrans

The fox is infact a member of the CANINE family. The only thing that makes it different from other canines is their genus and species. It has the body type of a canine, can bark, howl, yip, and act like other canines do. Nevertheless, it has a few different characteristics and behaviors. Some of thier behavior is very cat-like (pouncing, playing, and cat-like energy), which may be the reason why some people may question what their family is. Just because it acts different from other members in the canine family, does not mean it is not a canine.

Let me put it to you this way..... Foxes are different from dogs like rats are different from squirrels. We all know that rats and squirrels both belong to the rodent family, even though they both live different lifestyles and have very different behaviors. It's the same thing with lemurs and monkeys; they both belong to the primate family, but have differences in physical apperance and in their gene pools.

I hope this answers your question and clears things up if you were wondering.

~Kopper's Red Fox Coven~
[/u]

Hello, and welcome. This is a red fox roleplay that is looking for realistic, literate, dedicated members. This group is mostly mappless, but has a map incase we do mapped roleplays. The roleplays are realistic to semi-realistic, and semi-literate to literate. ~Kopper's Red Fox Coven~ will accept red foxes in all shades and hues of red: alizarin red, burgundy red, fiery red, crimson, copper red, etc. This pack will also accept red foxes that have realistic genetic fur color mutations: pearl foxes, silver foxes (black foxes), albinos, burgundy foxes, marble foxes, etc. I try to keep this group as active as I can.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fox Coven Rules:

1.) Listen to the leader! (Most important rule)
2.) NO Powerplaying or Godmodding. It will not be tolerated.
3.) Respect each other
4.) Keep RP appropriate ((there are kids in this group))
5.) When roleplaying, try to keep things realistic. Don't go off hunting down and killing elk or moose, because foxes are way to small for that.
[/size]

**Any rule breaking will NOT be tolerated. Breaking any of these rules will get you a warning, or kicked from the group. If you cannot follow any of these simple rules, then this is NOT the group for you. If you have any questions about the rules, please feel free to ask.**

About the Lead Vixen

Name: Kopper
Gender: Female
Age: 3 1\2 years old (likely to change in roleplay)
Species: Red Fox
Fur color: copper red
Eye color: Pale green
Personality: She is one sassy, sarcastic vixen. She is social, cunning, crafty, playful, but she can be serious when she needs to be. She is a strict mother with her kits, but will show a more playful side with them.
Background: Kopper had a normal fox kithood. She was raised by her mother out in a tree den with her siblings. Her father would come around and bring food to her mother and siblings. When she was old enough to leave her family, she ventured out to start a new life. For a short time, she lived the life of solitude. As time went by she began to feel very lonely and unhappy. She found other red foxes to mingle with, and they became a group. She takes her job of being the lead vixen very seriously, and will make sure all her members are living safely and happy.

This fox group will accept any red foxes. We also accept red foxes with genetic fur color mutations, such as pearl foxes, silver foxes (black foxes), albinos, burgundy foxes, marble foxes, cross foxes (cross between a red and silver), platinum foxes, etc. Some of these red foxes have obtained these genetic fur mutations through selective breeding. People who raise foxes for their fur, or to keep as pets, will breed foxes to get new fur colors and patterns. Some of these fur mutations occur naturally in the wild.

These are some examples of what some of these fur mutations look like.

**Markings Required!!

We are not too picky on what markings you choose to create your fox. However, we do advise you use these markings for your character to make it look more like a red fox. ((Some of these markings listed are from the Mass Markings Packs.))

*Body Markings:  Siamese, Toeless socks, Socks (mass markings)

*Head Markings:  Cub spots, Ear Rims, Fox (mass markings), Ears (mass markings) etc.

*Tail Markings:  Highlight, Husky 2, Flag (mass markings), or None

~Ask Lady Alizarin~

"Ask me anything, darling"

Feel free to ask me anything. Feel free to ask me anything about groups, RPs, my username, animals, games, hobbies, foods, pets, etc. I will try to answer as best I can. If in doubt, Google is the answer. Just don't ask about things that are  way too wacky, or way too personal. Ask away!  ;D

Also, if you ask me any stupid questions, I might respond with stupid answers.

Cougar Cliffs
A Map for Forest Critters

It's finished! Well folks, this is the first map I made to share with the public. This isn't the first one I have constructed, but it's the first one I have really been dedicated to. This is a very simple map with the basic FH objects. This map has been made for the purpose of forest animal roleplays. The map features pine forests, grassy meadows, mountains, valleys, lakes, streams, and waterfalls. A custom sky was made for this map, and also includes some weather effects. There are several dens and caves for animals to hide in or raise their young. So bring your wolf pack, deer herd, bobcat family, or cougar pride, and come have some fun in the forests and mountains!  :D

In this map, you can have Roleplays with the following animals:

Wolves
Coyotes
Mountain Lions (Cougars)
Deer
Elk
Moose
Foxes
Bears
Raccoons
Bobcats
Linxes
Squirrels/ chipmunks
Rabbits
Hares
Skunks
Hawks
Eagles
Owls
and so on, and so forth...

Here are 2 links from two different sites to download the map. Note: the map has a lot of objects in it. Some players may lag more than others on this map. Also, if you are having trouble with the link or can't find the file in any way, please let me know.

Map RULES: Yes there are a few rules for my map.

1.) DO NOT claim this map as your own.
2.) DO NOT claim any part of this map as your pack or pride territory. This map is big, but it's not big enough for that kind of nonsenes. If there are other players playing in the map with you and your pack\pride, do NOT tell them to get out of your "territory"! It is a PUBLIC map. You need to learn to share with others.
3.) This is a map made for forest animals. NO fantasy creatures: griffons, unicorns, dragons, pheonixes, etc. If you want to be a fantasy animal, there are maps to download and play in that are made for those creatures. This map is NOT one of them!
4.) You CAN use this map for your group roleplays. If your pack or pride needs a map for a mapped forest animal RP you are allowed to use this map.
5.) Have fun in this map, and enjoy it.

Hello everyone on Feral Heart! I'm new to the game, so you could say I'm a "Jenny-come-lately". I have not downloaded the actual game just yet, but I will soon. I was quite curious about this online game, so I decided to join to see what it's all about.
So anyway, call me Lady Alizarin. I just wanted to say hello to everyone. I hope I get to meet many of you and make some new friends.
