Ah. What operating system are you running on? I had problems with SweetFX not wanting to run on Windows 8.1. My best suggestion for you is to remove these files, and only keep the ENB files, if you still want a bit of the action:

d3d9.fx
dxgi.dll
dxgi.fx
injector.ini
shader.fx
SWEETFX.dll
SweetFX_preset.txt
SweetFX_settings.txt

Files you will want to keep:

d3d9.dll
enbseries.ini

I've had the same problem on my other computer. If you still want to try and run SweetFX without ENB though, I can give you a link to ReShade. I was able to run ReShade on Windows 8.1 using it, however, this means no ENB.

The problem still persists, even after excluding those files.

And actually, I use Windows 7. Computer's a bit old, works okay when I play Skyrim and stuff, but with newer games and stuff like that it lags a lot.

Also, can I ask what SweetFX and ReShade and that stuff does?

EDIT: Okay, so apparently I left some of the files I copied into the FH folder, and by deleting them and only keeping the files you said the ENB works now. ^^' It looks good, despite a little bit of lag! I deal with that, though, lol.

I'll leave my last question up there, though, out of my curiosity.

Taken from the website, "SweetFX Shader Suite (or just SweetFX) that allows you to apply a suite of post processing shader effects to your games."

ReShade is an entire compilation of many different shader suites. Not just SweetFX, but McFly, GemFX, etc. The newest 'SweetFX' preset I will be making (If you want to call it that XP) is going to use the ReShade framework, which is basically what you can use to create these 'presets.'

ReShade also includes the latest version of SweetFX (2.0), however, this version and my older ones used 1.5.
It's a lot better than just having SweetFX, lets say, since:

1. Support for OpenGL and DirectX. ---- Normal SweetFX only supports DirectX.

2. You can combine different shader suites for a very nice effect. ---- Can't do that with normal SweetFX

3. Probably a few more things that I missed. xD

If you still don't get what it does, it basically injects a lot of nice effects into your game to make it look better.

Interesting...  Hopefully with my new computer someday it'll work better for me, then. Thank you for your answer! x3

No problem. By the way, SweetFX and ENB should work with most games running DirectX. Some games, such as Source Engine games (Team Fortress 2, Half-Life 2, Portal 1, 2, Black Mesa, etc. Not sure about all of them though), also require you to put the files in the 'bin' folder of the games directory.

Anyways, enjoy the mod!

UPDATE (12/26/15):
I was testing the mod out today, just for the lolz, and it crashed. It took me a minute to realize that the entire SweetFX folder was missing, which caused the crash. Here is the updated version:

(Sorry if this is like, grave-digging the thread or anything)
Is this compatible with mac? The ENB I was trying to use earlier wasn't working and compatibility was my only idea as to why.

Unfortunately, no. XC (i cri evertiem as well.)

ENB and SweetFX are designed for Windows, since DirectX is needed to run them, which is a shame, as it would be pretty nice to see at least alternative for Mac and Linux.

No problem. Maybe you can try running FH in Wine and see if you can try and get SweetFX and ENB to work. I've heard some people had success running ENB with other games, but every time I try, I get no results. xD
