everytime I log into the game it comes up with the message I need to download the latest patch... where do i find it/how do I do it?

I presume you're talking about the actual FeralHeart patch (and not FeralHeart +)? You can download the latest patch here.

You just need to go to the downloads page and download/torrent the patch. It should install itself correctly on its own; just run the app.
