FHSetup.exe blocked by Chrome? .-.
« on: February 02, 2014, 08:42:28 am »
Hey guysss :P I am getting into FeralHeart again, but since I did format my computer I had to redownload that thing again.
I was going to download it, waited 2 minutes for it to complete, andddd....

Translation: "The file FHSetup(1).exe is malicious and Chrome blocked it. Dismiss"

WHY NO

It's just weird... before it worked, without Chrome blocking it, but now... *block block*
I feel like I wasted my entire life on this.
Did Google Chrome change the filters, or it's a bug?...
I am lazy to download other browsers, IE was uninstalled. Chrome is going to be my favorite...

Please help meh. =\

Try downloading FH on Mozilla Firefox. Chrome can be silly sometimes

I assure you that Feral Heart does not have any virus nor is it malicious. I suggest, if you do not want to download another browser then turn off Google Chrome and re-download it again.

This is how you turn off Google Chrome malware detection:

1.) Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
2.) Move down and click Settings.
3.) Select "Show advanced settings" and look for the "Privacy" section.
4.) Click "Enable phishing and malware protection" checkbox to deselect it.

However be warned that by this you are completely turning off malware and phishing warnings.

 >:( The same thing happened to me, I had to reinstall FH, and now it says its malicious, I installed it, but when my dad saw it, he got really mad so I had to uninstall it. Honestly, I think FH is safe, maybe its a glitch, because it only happens once you reinstall it? Wish I could help, sorry.  :'(

Most browsers and antivirus can warn or block any installer coming from the internet, even if they are not malicious. This is for safety reasons to avoid to install anything by error or without the user consent that could lead on installing malware.

From 3 years of experience playing this game, Feral heart does not contains malicious code nor malware, and it does not downloads any third-party proggrams that could give malware. As long you download this game from the official site i can guarantee its safe.

You need to ignore the warnings to download the installer, or to ask to your parents to help you installing the game.
