Fire's Poems
« on: March 12, 2011, 10:42:29 pm »
Finding New Hope

The darkness of dusk has seeped in, howls echo below.
Down, down in the dark are things we may never know.
An owl takes flight, at the echo of a a wolfs howl.
The snowleapoard wakes, ready to go on the prowl.
Crickets chirp, night decends.
Over the valley, that never ends.
Clouds move in, thunder rumbles.
A storm decends that makes rocks tumble.
Flames spark as lightning strikes a tree.
in the distance is the owls scree.
The fire spreads two and fro.
Devouring trees as it goes.
Rain comes the fire ends.
The valley is charred and black as ravens decend.
There is no sound but the creak of a tree.
And the echo of the owls scree.
The smoke clears and what the leapoard sees.
Brings her down to her knees.
The charred lanscape, rotton and black.
Reminds her of her past way back.
But in the distance mountains gleam.
She remambers a forgotten dream.
Leaveing her past, her home.
She sets out to journy alone.
she leaves the place where she grew.
Cougars, foxes and bears to.
Nothing stops her, and she decends.
On a journy with unknown ends.
She climbs the peak, her journy over.
she roars at the moon, her sorrow gone.
And a new era biegins.

short poem, I ran out of words and ideas tell me what u think ( I'll try to update it soon ) :)
Flickering Flames

Flickering flames light the night.
The fire in the pit burns so bright.
Shadows dance among the trees.
whispers the soft nighttime breeze.

Over The Valley

Pines shake as the rain drops.
The branches shake with dew.
Leaves droop as the wind whispers,
Of the night approaching soon.
The rain drizzles, spinkles and disolves.
The mist left behind covers the forest.
The moon glitters through the fog.
As the sun drops below the horizon.
Crickets chirp, owls hoot.
Wolves howl at the moon.
The sun rises, the moon fades.
Night turns to day.
The falcon screeches and takes flight,
Over the valley as the clouds clear.
The morning sun melts the mist.
The tiger prows low through the grass.
Fish leap across the pond,
While elk travel around the edge.
The sun sets and grass waves.
The moon rises once again,
Over the valley that never ends.

WOW I wrote this poem at school for fun during my free time, it took about... two months to write! I'm really proud of it so I hope you like it :)

Night Cycles

Nights darkness has seeped in.
Howls echo below.
Down, down in the dark are things we'll never know.
The moon hangs way up high.
Like a crystal in the sky.
Amber eyes glint in the brush.
Waiting for the final rush.
Pounding paws cut throught the night,
As snow falls beutifull and bright.
Howls sound loud and clear,
On the early winter air.
Spring comes winter ends.
The moon drops and rises once again.
Bats flutter in the night.
Useing hearing more than sight.
Crickets chirp, dawn decends.
Over the forest that never ends.
Spring slows, summer starts.
Stars glint in the darkness.
Lightning bugs blink among the trees.
The moon hangs in the sky.
All is silent exept for a Barn Owls cry.
Coyotes howl at the moon.
For the comeing storm that will be here soon.
Lightning strikes, thunder rumbles.
The sound that makes rocks tumble.
Rain pours down across the land.
The treetoprs glisten like diamonds.
Morning comes the storm draws away.
The moon sinks below the horizon.
The sky is filled with streaks of red yellow and blue.
The sun rises and the day drags on.
Crows caw as color fills the sunset.
Summer has given way to autum.
Apples are ripe and feilds are brown as the moon rises.
Foxes rusle in the brush, and squirrls skitter up the trunks.
The leaves are gold red and brown.
Ravens caw and owls hoot.
The warning of winters comeing root.
Leafs fall, and grass droops.
As frost forms fine and thin.
Wolves howl as the snow falls.
Autum ends and winter has come again.

yeah, I know. LONG XD

I posted this poem on WQ, and am now posting it here, one of my first poems :) I had forgotton about it

Pounding paws cut through the night
As snow falls beutifull and bright
Howls sound loud and clear
On the early winter air
Wolves at midnight sing your song
Befor the morn when you are gone

This poem is dedicated to my charr Night Whisper, and my other charr (his brother), Shadow Song.

We'll Meet Again

The wind whispers, the branhes droop.
All I know is that your gone.
The water ripples and the storm rises,
The rise of what coud be the end.
But though your body has passed away,
Your spirit sings to me night and day.
And all I know is that your among the stars.
But even through the pangs of death,
Comes a pride that can not die!
I know, with all my heart,
With all my strength,
We'll meet again.
Brother, we'll meet again.
Even though the branches droop, with death!
The winds sing your song!
The water ripples with passing time,
But brother,
We'll meet again!

I was standing outside with mom and the sky was so beautiful I just HAD to make a poem XD

A Winter Night

Wind flies way up high.
Soaring like an eagle in the sky.
Moonlight falls while it whistles.
The frosty grass soon turns brittle.
Clouds skitter 'cross the moon.
Tell-tales of snow that will be here soon.
Days pass, nights grow.
Whispy flakes begin to snow.
Bears sleep, wolves howl.
And in the shadows panthers prowl.
The pines droop, their branches heavy.
Snow-laden fern shake in the wind.
Stars flicker, dim and die.
The moon fades in the sky.
The sun rises and night disappears.

So... I was just standing outside, watching the stars, and then I noticed one had slipped down the sky, and it set my mind off, and I came out with this poem :)

The Universe

One by one, the lights go out.
Stars glitter in the sky.
The sun's gone down,
the dog's asleep,
and yet time fails to pass by.
Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars.
Saturn, Uranus, Neptune.
Which of those twinkling dots up there
are truly worlds unknown?
Far beyond the human eye,
there is land unknown.
Creatures, beats, and hungry teeth
who would eat me at first sight?
The universe is endless,
and impossible to explore.
There's to many stars to count,
worlds to find, and moons to land.
There are creatures to discover,
aliens aplenty.
Far beyond my vision,
what worlds wait for me?

One word, Dodgeball.

PE Dodgeball

Dodgeball is boring, there's nothing to do.
We've played it all year,
Can't we do something new?
You can't grab the balls,
Boys take 'em away.
Unless you get hit,
You stand around all day.
No one is careful,
I've been hit in the face.
They say I can't throw,
and yes, it's true.
How can you participate,
When no one lets you?

This poem has no title, since I put it on a site called Warrior Cats RPG to advertise for a clan me and my friends whipped up, but I wanna share it anyway :3

What is that you hear?
Perhaps a whisper drawing near?
We are the whispers in the branches,
The voice within the sky.
Join us,
If you dare.
For here,
Time fails to pass by.
