Question on presets

I read some where that unless you give some one the files to your custom preset they will not be able to see it. Is that true and if so how do you give someone the files if your new to the game and dont know anyone?

You must give your exported preset file so the fhp file after ur export your preset, then when u give it to a friend they will be able to see u

So unless they have my exported preset files they just see a full white creature? Man so the two customs I made will never be seen by anyone else but those I give the file too. Does this mean I have to also give then the altered files, the ones I colored to make the files?
