What's better?

You know how tiresome the game gets without hunting? I heard that Kovu is going to make hunting soon, but for now we have to wait. So we kill fake animals that aren't even in the game. Or we kill characters for our meals, and they lie there pretending to be dead.Which is better? I think "killing" characters is more realistic, since you get to chase them, and sneak up on them and stuff. But which do you prefer for your rp? Fake animals or characters?

I, honestly, enjoy hunting for NPC's because I'm usually in mapped roleplays with no little, usually illiterate, animals. So that is another option. Sometimes I get in to a cannibalistic roleplay, and do eat other characters, very simple which one I like best.
I think it would sort of pose a problem to add actual prey to the game, because custom maps would be confusing. As in, how would the animals get in there? Automatically programmed- which could take away from the enviroment, etc. I don't really support that whole add prey to the game.
So my option is pretty clear here, honestly.
