You need to download Legendary Markings again in order to see these people.

You are supposed to put files in FeralHeart->Media->Textures->MARKINGS

And the markings.cfg file in Feral Heart folder!

yeah, I've done that, but nothing changed? I still can't see the markings...

Game Help / help! can't see other people's presets! [RESOLVED]

so I've encountered this problem and have been digging around to avoid creating a topic with an issue that already has an answer. but alas nothing I tried helped!

basically, all I see in-game are white characters that lack their presets. I've tried downloading PresetSync, uploading my preset onto the server via "user panel" as instructed (some people can't see my preset but some can?), tried downloading some commonly used ("legendary markings v4") markings and putting them into the texture folder of the game, and... nothing, still.

perhaps someone can help? here is what I see:



any advice is appreciated!

so, I've seen others post things here, so I figured I might as well?
I have been drawing on and off for at least 7 years more or less seriously. I have gone to several art academies during my childhood, but dropped out due to depression and being overwhelmed with school work on weekdays and art assignments and courses on weekends.
I've learnt most from using online resources, more than anything else, but I do have a good understanding of most of the fundamentals of art (unless it's colour theory, then I'm totally lost).
and, well, I guess here you go!

your art looks promising, definitely! I would suggest drawing from life and looking at anatomy breakdowns of various animals.
but if you have time at all, if you could draw one of my mains, Tyler, that'd be super fantastic! (if you could do a full-body, like your example picture, that'd be wonderful, but you don't have to, do what you feel like doing, don't afraid to go out your comfort zone!)

Gender: Male
Species: Wolf
Special: has simple 'black dot' piercings in the sides of his ears, 2 on left, 3 on right; different colour eyes, left pale red, right pale blue; distinct markings on the back and some freckles! (no need to be perfect with them, really)
Items (optional): white scarf with pink stripes, bracelets.

tbf, I'm not even sure what I'm gonna do yet, lmao. I guess I kind of started looking at some parts of the game I overlooked before, like creating custom presets for my characters to make them look more like themselves. also I guess my goal is to try and talk to other people more? I'm terrible at socialising but forums and RP used to be my safe haven when I was younger, so I'm hoping to maybe try and bring that sort of thing back into my life... we'll see how it goes.
I'm only starting to explore the new maps but The Grounds seems huge by comparison to what I remember, so I'll definitely be spending some time exploring it, so maybe we'll get to meet in-game some time! my character is in my signature, he's pretty basic, so could be easy or hard to spot, lmao.

so, I'm not really new? I have been following FH since the idea of it was first presented (also I have been around this forum for a while, I just never got the chance to post anything, *cough cough* "date registered: august 25, 2011" *cough cough* eughh...). I have been playing a bit of Impressive World, but started out playing Perfect World, Second Life and later WolfQuest. I quit playing a few years ago after the game development kinda staggered and KovuLKD left the project. I've been coming back to it, from time to time, but never really getting involved with the community anymore. now after rediscovering my passion for mmorpg games and those with elements of it I have decided to give FH another shot. the community seems quite active still, too, although the game is definitely still as niche as it was, if not more so. but I guess that's what I like about it. looking at the game's most recent build, though, it definitely gives me hope! there's so much more to explore now and I hope that the game will keep getting updated as much as it can be without the access to the source code.

enough with the waffling, I guess I ought to introduce myself. I currently go by RaytheonSentinel, but you can just call me Ray for short! I am a dude, I do voice acting, I'm an entertainer and I like fantasy books and foxes are my favourite animal! my main FH character at the minute is Tyler, as well as him being my second most used character.

I am also on Cereal Soup forums, although I couldn't link it to you as it's currently down, but looking forward to playing that game too as soon as the download link for the new build it up! =^^=

so, uh... yeah! looking forward to making some new friends, perhaps :3
