No background

I can get the game to open but the background is pitch black, all I can see is the character and buttons. I tried switching the rendering subsytem, and as far as I can tell my device should be able to run the game- and I don't get any error notifications. I'm using a Surface Pro x- any help would be much appreciated!

Your characters may be potentially stuck in the old maps. Log into the User Panel (https://feral-heart.com/user/) and a list of your characters will come up. On each character, select "Reset home" and then "Send Home"

If that doesn't work, try to change your rendering subsystem through the game options, under the Video subcategory.

If suggestions above won't work- what is your FeralHeart folder location?
