I'm now scared to enter the kitchen in fear on my table and chairs.

I'm quite shy after all.

Because of this, I've now resorted to staring at the nature outside in hopes of absorbing their life force since I can no longer absorb the crisp, cool fridge nectar I yearn for.

So long Johnny Strong

2/10 I do believe I've seen you before.

I used to make big scenes at bonfire back before my haitus but I doubt I'm at all known now.

Game Help / Re: Missing appendage for preset?

Yes, you would erase the ear from the texture and make sure transparency is on and it is .png.
You can do this by utilizing the transparency code~ You can find a tutorial on how to code transparency into your preset here. :) If you want to take a look and familiarize yourself with the Ogre Materials, take a peek at OGRE: Material Scripts. You can also experiment to make your own specialized effects.

Thank you so much for all the help! :D

Game Help / Missing appendage for preset?
« on: August 29, 2018, 02:03:19 pm »
So one of my characters recently got her ear torn off and I was wondering if it's possible to get rid of her left ear on the preset? I've seen a character with a very cool and realistic bullet hole through his ear, but is there any way to completely get rid of one and just leave a scar behind? Would I just get rid of any coloring and textures where the ears are located for preset_headL file, save it as a png so nothing shows up then edit the coding?

Apologies if this question was already asked and thank you for any answers!

Game Help / Re: Any way to add fluff to wolves?

I'm not sure there's an item out there like that that's already made, but if you want a 3D fluff to go on your character, you can try to find someone who makes items for your presets and commission them to make one for you! You can also just draw a fluff texture on the preset and have it shown that way ^ -^

Good, to know! I figured there might not be something yet but I just wanted to be sure. Thank you!

I wanted to know if there's some sort of item or way to add fluff to the neck of a preset. It's hard to describe so here's an example.

I relate so much! There was a group I was apart of, and it was a part of a small community of different groups. We all had our own maps, and about once a week we'd all meet up and have a meeting about stuff. It was pretty fun, but sadly it died off after awhile. I still visit the old maps every once in a while. The memories I made there to me are priceless~

I remember having a pack like that too! o3o Sadly I only got to rp once with them before it seemed to fall apart. By any chance, were they called Final Chapter with one of the packs being NightRaid?

Aayyee, do we have another NightRaider? Cause indeed it was~
Never thought I'd run into anyone from FC again, heh.
Sorry you didn't get to RP with everyone =( I was quite bummed when it fell. I loved FC </3

Lmao what are the odds?
It's cool to see someone from there!
It's okay though, I just wish I had found the pack sooner and got to see what it was all about. I remember being so excited about joining too because I thought it would be the perfect pack to use this blind wolf I had just created lol. Idk if you knew her but my wolf's mentor was named Sel if I remember correctly.

Great to read through all the replies! Every default FH map mentioned I remember using (Except Atlantis lmao) for rps or just hanging out to have a good time!

I truly miss FeralHeart's old maps. I have been wanting to download some, just to relive my early FeralHeartian days. I am a sappy sucker, so no doubt I'd start crying!

I hope the new maps do the old justice. They deserve to be loved just like the ones from the past were. In fact, all these new maps can be loved. They're just as unique and wondrous to explore on their own...I mean, Zama Grotto, a cavern under the water? That's amazing. Sea creature role plays should take place there! Sadly, most of the maps aren't populated. I feel as if it's because they're hard to find.

Grand opening of FeralHeart tours, lol. ^_^

I really hope that the maps get filled! They're so much bigger than the old ones and full of a lot more detail, but like you said, just a lot harder to find. Tours would be a great idea lol!

Welcome to the world of Feral Heart modding.

Where unless it's a modpack that can be used en masse and is easy to install, your shelf-life will vary from an hour to a day.

That's how it is with most mods on games, come to think of it.

Sad but very true. It all just feels like so much effort and potential just thrown away though. I wish so many maps got more recognition.

I totally get this. There's been a few maps I've downloaded for roleplays that unfortunately went inactive and most of the members disappeared... it's kinda depressing to explore the maps later on, knowing it'll likely never be active again, especially if the maps weren't up for public download. And there's the maps whose downloads have just been lost entirely...

Yeah! It's just kinda hard to let these maps go after having fun memories in them and knowing the maps were special to your pack or something. Hits me right in the feels.
