Game Crashing due to Objects
« on: August 10, 2014, 09:47:17 pm »
I was working a map, I finished. And I exported it. After that I loaded up my FH game. It wouldn't even show the start screen. It only be: "feral heart is not responding".
So, I backuped my object and map files. Redownloaded FH. I loaded up the new FH I just downloaded, worked without a problem. So, I go and close the program to put my terrian/maps and objects back in. After that, the game would not respond once more. So, I deleted the objects, put the normally downloaded objects folder (without any objects I downloaded etc) back in. And Feral Heart would work again! I'm not sure. My Feral Heart seems to want to work due to the objects I have. This is making me very frusterated as I spent a long time on this map, and I'm not even done STILL. Any help?

Check your Feralheart >> Media >> Particles folder for any duplicates.

Pretty much any .particle files with _0, _1, _2 etc at the end of them and delete those files. Also check your Sky and My_Objects folder as well, just in case there's any duplicates there.
Will be inactive due to work and exams.

Ah, why didn't I think of that? I'll check that out later. I'm guessing it's probably the case. Thank you.

Firstly, it's good your game is working! I can't say I know why your map is not :\

Any error messages? Since you've exported it are you able to enter the map through Cape without any problems?
