How to recover a preset?
« on: March 30, 2017, 05:51:57 pm »
I had to reinstall FH because it was constantly crashing... but now i dont have my preset images (I forgot to back them up) So now the only images in the preset_1, 2, etc. folders is the ones that come with the game when you install it. I still have the .fhp files for my presets.

I don't think there is anyway to get the presets back, unless you downloaded them from somewhere; then you can download it again.
But if it's a preset you made yourself I don't think there is a method to recover it.

If you still have the .fhp files you can put them in the "presets" folder so they still work.  But you can't edit them anymore.
The images appear to be hidden inside the .fhp file if you're clever enough to figure out how to open those.   i haven't.

They might have an old thing, one example is a favourite bowl or dish, it's broken, pieces are missing, why fix it?  With gold and pieces from other dishes?

From what it sounds, your files could definitely still be in your Recycle Bin if you're on Windows. Try looking through your Recycle Bin to see if the files are in there.

Unless you've already checked this..... Just wanted to make sure ^^
