IceCub's Giant Adventure Map Pack! [2/20/14]

Hello friends! Sorry for my long period of being away. My laptop had to be factory reset. But I saved everything.
I've been working on this project for a while and decided that this will be a huge bundle you can download that includes a new interface and textures as well as some mods by others.
The hardest part is trying to find ways to link all the maps together.

 There will be a map that will serve the same purpose as Cape of Distant Worlds. But it will only contain 3 base maps that you can choose to enter to start your journey...

But once you choose you can't get out the way you came.

There will be 20 or more maps to explore, claim territory, and RP.

This will be open for testers soon!

Hey everyone! Seems like I've been away forever -__-
But while I am on break I decided to scrap my other map ideas and merge them all into this giant map pack.

Its going to be very detailed and realistic as well as fantasy themed. Think Halo, Skyrim, WoW and stuff like that.
Another difference from regular maps is there are obstacles and puzzles....Fall into a pit of lava? Your charrie dies XD (its ok its not the end)

Basically the idea of the map is for those players who do like to RP fight against each other and have a certain territory that they claim. You can make friends, form alliances or enemies. There can be multiple clans(groups) in the maps at once. Obviously we don't want powerplaying and godmodding though. You can also have whatever species or character you want. Presets will be strongly encouraged. Please share any feedback and ideas you may have!

As far as the map goes here are a few screenies of the mountainous regions, but check back soon for updates. Im trying to come up with names and other stuff

Ooooohhhhh. :{O Very interesting mountains there so far.. I literally want to jump around on that right now with my character... o_O... is that weird?

I'm excited to see more in the future, in fact maybe, too. x3 It sounds pretty interesting...
Though I have a question: Are you planning on making tribal villages, cities and towns possibly? Just curious, since you said Halo, Skyrim, and WoW and I reckon they have stuff like that... Though if not then I won't force you.

Lots of different tribes and villages. Ive also been working on some temple meshes.

Looks awesome! I love the terrain you have in there, since most people don't like to put in mountains. I know that when it is done you'll find me in there all the time. Keep up the good work there! I hope to see it up for download some day!

If you're looking for some names, google translate has never failed me. If you're looking for fancy schmancy foreign names, here are some ideas(all for mountain region):
~montem excelsum(Meaning: Mountain High)
~transeat petram(Meaning: Rock Pass)
~magnum iter(Meaning: Great Height)

If you're thinking of English names, just take fancy mountain words, get some glue, and stick em together! Good luck working on the maps!

(Forgot to mention this in last post) As for mountain names, try sticking with some memorable landmarks (dead tree, valley, rocks ect.) Such as Sunset Valley, Dead Orchard, or Great Rock :3 Hope this inspired you.
