Ideas for a new map? (Will be public)

I've been thinking about working on a new map, but I don't really know what type of map I want to work on at the moment.
Of course, I'd be happy to work on any really.
A few map types stood out to me, so here's a little pool for you guys to vote.

Now, I'm not sure when the map will be finished, as I don't wanna rush anything, and I have a few projects going on right now.
But It will definitely be finished (most likely before Christmas) this year.

Also, I am not sure about the size of the map, if it should be bigger or smaller.
So feel free to give me a reply about that (or anything else really), when you finish voting for the map.


Some of the maps I have been thinking about, (and getting the general layout in my head, of how they should look like and what should be added in the map) are these:

Jungle map
It would most likely have a few caves and a lot of water (probably a bunch of little streams) and maybe a lake. It really depends on the general outline of the heightmap.

Desert map
I was thinking about making this type of map too, although I don't think I'd be able to add as much detail as I want in it, as deserts are a bit empty in real life.
But feel free to give me ideas to what put in this map, if you decide to vote for it.

Sky's Rim type of map
This one.. Ah
I always loved Sky's Rim and jumping on floating islands.
So yes, a similar map, but of course very different at the same time, with a bunch of floating islands and parkour. It would definitely be fun.



And that's pretty much it.
I didn't have that many maps in mind, because these 3 really stood out and I don't wanna work on a map that I think I won't be able to give 100% in.

I'm all for a Sky's Rim type map. You don't see those too often. And parkour, man...

All these are pretty nice ideas! I've seen many parkour-type maps as well as forest/jungle type of ones, too, and those are fun to see more of. I'd definitely love to see a jungle or desert map, honestly. Desert maps are rare, and sure, there's not much that can be added, but there are a lot of inspirations for one. One desert-park like place that's pretty nice a friend of mine has been to is Papago Park in Arizona.

Maybe if you really want to mix things up, combine all three? Like...that'd be amazing. I know it sounds like a lot but can you imagine...

Maybe a Sky's Rim-esque map with a jungle climate? I could see something like that looking incredible!

Personally, I'd definitely go for the jungle map because of how pretty it would look with all the beautiful plants and such. But I'm leaning more towards a Sky's Rim type map. I haven't seen those kinds of maps in a while so it would for sure be something unique and fun!
