Is this worth continuing?

Okay, I think we can all agree. This game has painfully small textures. Although the actual size of the textures, 512x, is reasonably large, the amount of space such tiny textures are spread over is ridiculous. In the screenshots below, I replaced the 512x textures with 2048x textures. Which means that the games uses up much more memory, in the end, but, well, see for yourself.




Tell me, my furry friends, is it worth re texturing all the terrains for this much of a difference? If I try to make the textures any higher res than this, the game runs out of memory and crashes. How sad is that. But is it worth it? I'll release it, of course.

There are a pack with textures, naturalistic for example, with 1024x1024 textures. maybe you should take a look to it.
It seems cool to have 2048x2048 textures, specially on the floor.
It is nice to have a game with high-res textures only if you have a powerful graphics card and computer in general. Some users have it.

Fair enough, but still. That pack, for every pixel in the original game, has 4 pixels.
This pack, for every pixel in the original game, has 16 pixels.
You do the math.

Okay, look, I'm back from the dead. Rock textures, because they are often so badly stretched, are now at 4096x, which is even better. All other textures are at 2048x and are for the entire game. Sadly, this pack is not fully compatible with FeralHeart+ yet, but will be soon, hopefully. You can still use it if you have Plus, but not all the textures will be revamped. Uploading now, it's 500mb+, fyi, and the FeralHeart+ version could easily be roughly 700 or 800. Pardon the filesize, quality costs.
