~-~ History ~-~

Long ago, dragons ruled everything.
The seas were like over-sized pools, the sky was like an endless plain, and the ground was a personal woods. Dragons raided all they could: Human villages, castles, and even each other's clans.
Humans were so angry, they went to their wizard. After a few hours, the wizard agreed to make a spell to curse all the dragons. It took 5 years to make the spell, and another year just to gather enough materials. Then, the spell was cast, on the full moon.
The curse caused chaos with the dragons. Flames had their scales burn their skin, while the Waters couldn't go under the water or surface if they were already under. The Clouds were banned from flying, while the Vines were grabbed by all plants and bound in place. Shadows were caused blindness for the night, and the Outcasts were driven into madness. This curse is what made the dragons kill all the humans, and destroy anything that was left.
The Clouds started attacking other dragons. This lead to the war. No one knows why or how the war started, just that the Clouds attacked, and others followed.

~-~ The Map ~-~

The map is a dragon shaped island.called Dragons' Cove.Dragons' Cove is surrounded by a large, island dotted sea. These little islands are called The Scales. There, however, is one island that is not one of The Scales. That island is called Sea Refuge, where the Waters make their camp. The next is the Burning Plains. The Burning Plains is where the Flames call their territory and all other dragons call their death. These plains are located on the wing of the dragon, taking up a large chunk of the island.

Personality: Although among one of the oldest in the clan, Vitanus is still sharp of mind and able of body. He considers himself an honorable dragon, and respects those around him who in turn respect him and show true devotion to the Vines. He can be pensive and quiet at times, but when he feels he has something to say he will make sure his voice is heard.

History: A pure dragon of the Vine, Vitanus has lived with the clan all his long years, surviving through the curse time and time again, even as he started getting up in his years, but he has never wavered, and refuses to die by it, saying that death must come through battle or through sleep, but never by the curse. He has never taken a mate and shows little interest in that sort of lifestyle, and has always given the excuse (even when he was younger) that he was too old to settle down and start a family of his own. When he reached full adulthood, Vitanus left the clan for a year to go on a trip across the sea, in a way of trying to find himself, and has never really talked about what happened during his travells, but whatever did happen, it changed him, turning the dragon from a young and carefree dragonet into a serious and honorable creature. Vitanus has participated in countless battles between the Vine clan and their enemies, and is fairly well known as a mighty warrior of the ages gone by.

Sample: "The clan needs to understand, if we do nothing, the Waters will come to our shore and drown us all, there is no mercy for our kind among the Water clan. Either we act now, or we will fall." Vitanus's voice rang across the gathering, silencing the bickering creatures with its deep and powerful stature. "If we did choose to attack the Waters what would that say about us? The other clans might join together and snuff us out entirely because they'll see us as a threat." parried Tryone and a few nodded in agreement, their eyes uneasy. "Or, they might see us as a clan not to be challenged. Either way, if we do nothing, retribution from the Water clan will happen regardless!" retorted the elder dragon fiercely, wishing the others could see how dangerous  of a situation they were in.
