Ogre Error
« on: April 28, 2013, 05:02:55 am »
I've looked all through these forums and have done the following: Uninstalled and reinstalled FH, attempted to fix the Ogre folder(No luck there), and looked through the media folder for double files. I've spent the past two days trying to figure it out, frustrated that my game continues to give me problems.

Ogre Code
Render System=Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem
[Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem]
Allow NVPerfHUD=No
FSAA=0
Floating-point mode=Fastest
Full Screen=No
Rendering Device=Monitor-1-ATI Radeon HD 4200
Resource Creation Policy=Create on all devices
VSync=No
VSync Interval=1
Video Mode=800 x 600 @ 32-bit colour
sRGB Gamma Conversion=No
[OpenGL Rendering Subsystem]
Colour Depth=32
Display Frequency=N/A
FSAA=0
Full Screen=No
RTT Preferred Mode=FBO
VSync=No
VSync Interval=1
Video Mode=800 x 600
sRGB Gamma Conversion=No

Now I noticed in a Youtube video for fixing your Ogre file was set up differently on both videos I watched. The Anti-Antaliseing was set below Allow NVPerfHUD=No. I'm not sure if that could be a problem or not.

Thank you!

What exactly is the error?
What does it say?

It says "FeralHeart.exe failed to start" something along that.

Try running the game as an administrator by right-clicking the Feral Heart icon on your desktop and selecting Run As Administrator?

You can also check this thread to see if it's of any use to you.

And maybe a screenshot of the error message? This video explains how to take a screenshot of your computer screen.

Did you delete the FeralHeart folder and reinstall?

I'd like to think not. Everything else runs fine on my computer, that includes a whole other pile of larger games such as The Sims, GTA, Skyrim, Spore, Minecraft, and a few smaller games. All of those games work fine and run as they should, it's only FeralHeart that has been giving me issues.

If you want the info on my computer here~

Windows Edition:
-Windows 7 Home Premium
-Service Pack 1

System:
-Rating: 4.1 ((This used to be at 5.9))
-Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 240 Processor 2.80 GHz
-Installed Memory(RAM): 3.00 GB (2.75 GB usable)
-System Type: 64-bit Operating System

On my Local Disk C drive I have 455 GB, with 250 GB free to use
I've also been using a flash drive with 7.63 GB for faster operation.

I think the problem may be your video card, but not sure if you can run things like MineCraft.

Have you recently messed with any Feral Heart files? Or downloaded anything that might have ruined the game?

:I Minecraft runs fine on my computer, and other than downloading a few mods that the game works fine with, I don't recall why it's happening.

I'll do a reinstall and post if it works or not.
