Ah, such a short emotional tale you have here. I don't normally have emotions toward fictional characters but in this story I couldn't help but to feel a pang of sympathy towards both Shadow and Shinedown. Shadow was forced to leave his brother due to the fate of death. Later, Shinedown had to deal with his brother's absence.
Depressing story, indeed. I look forward to any others you may happen write.
