And as for gimp not loading your art, do you save the images as .png or .jpg?

It auto-saves it as a xcf, but I may try to make some into PNGs and upload them, and thanks.

Maybe you should export it as a .png file. To get a .png, .jpg, etc. into Gimp, you will have to import it. Gimp only saves and takes a .xcf file.
