Sculpture I Did
« on: July 23, 2015, 06:26:44 pm »
I gotten Sculptris lately, and I really like it. It's so much better at Sculpting, and so much more simpler (and waaaay less laggy) than Blender! I decided to dink around, sculpting a head, but then decided to create a whole body with it. Spent way longer than I should have. Probably like 6+ hours.

Images under the cut:

Somehow, I posted the images from smallest to biggest, when I was just putting them in random order.
Honestly, I think it looks bad.

Honestly, I think it looks amazing. I find ears and horns to be difficult but you seem to have gotten it down and hh- If you make more sculpts, I do hope to see them.
I enjoy using Sculptris as well and I agree with you that it's a bit more easier to use than Blender. It's so much fun to just play around with for a bit and sculpt a few things.

I agree with Panzram!  This sculpture is amazing and it does look easy to sculpt. Imagine this, to make an animation out of this? Even harder. I love it, we'll done! :D

It is quite fun! The ears, and horns were done on separate objects, and I am quite proud of them. The horns, I used the grab, and just slowly dragged. Lots of undoing!

This wasn't designed for animation, but actually to be printed! I am not going to dive into animation for a while, at least until I try to get better at modeling itself. This has waaaay too many polygons to be used for an animation or a videogame; over 500,000! I was thinking of making a version suited for GMod, but I'm not sure about that, because I'll have to look into making bones, and the model will be very low quality!

All of it was worth it, as they turned out good!
I never even thought of using separate objects for the ears and horns. I'll have to keep that in mind next time I go in and sculpt something. Would definitely make things easier, so thank you for sharing that information with me.

This turned out really well. I hadn't heard of Sculprtis before, but it looks like a great program. I can't wait to see more from you. c:

Amazing job indeed!
It's about video game quality too, you've certainly got some talent there.
