Yes, I've noticed it before. Actually, one of my friends likes to create 'agender' characters. I think it gives her characters a bit of uniqueness and it adds more to RP about. Personally, I wouldn't use any other genders than male or female. I usually change my characters orientation than gender.

Like everyone else has said yes I have seen people that don't put genders in their tags or bios but hey thats cool I don't do it all the time either
