Mad scientist Podium Mod'
« on: February 08, 2017, 08:06:22 am »
Ok... so remember when the 1.15 update came out some months back with a white character screen and people released a bunch of podium mod's that were more colourful?

Well this is mine.. i spent WAY too long on it.  It looks bad (awful animations, that genome sequencer if horrific!) but to get it out of my head...
Look carefully at the unfinished robot thingy, the hair changes colour depending on the character you're selecting or working on.

Keep in mind this is untested because i can't find anyone willing to test it... so you can be the tester.

To install it, the file "fhPodium.FHM" should go in the feralheart/mediaterrains/fhmaps where it will replace the original one.  If you rename the original one before you replace it with a name like "fhorigpodium.fhm" it'll be easier to swap back to original again.
The "protoobjects1.fho" goes in exports, seems to work ok for me although you can put it in the fhmaps folder if you find it doesn't work & hope it still works...

The "kurispodium.material" file goes in the "Feralheart/media/materials" folder.

Mediafire Download Link.

Disclaimer: You'll notice some of the meshs are either default, or recycled from the old gen' legendary items, you can read through the material file and cross-reference those against the itempack things people often download if you have to know who made them, although some of those people or references are lost to time including the people leaving 5 years ago (nearly 100 years ago in internet time).

Happy testing...

Here is a video so you can see how nice the floor grid effect with 8 hours of tinkering is compared to the welding cat with only like, 2 hours spent on it...

Wow Kuri! That looks really cool!

I'll try it out and let you know what happens. =)
For the sake of my own health and interests, I've left FH and I won't be looking back.

I love it Kuri! You did a really great job on this. This looks like you put a lot of time into it especially since you inserted character models as meshes in the background ^^

Good for you! It's also something unique which is always appreciated.
