in game chatting - which do you like to see?
« on: March 05, 2018, 02:26:35 am »
heyo, floofs.
i've kinda been hopping in and out of activity[thanks, technology!], but i did wanna pop up this lil discussion and see if anyone had their thoughts to share.

as someone who has made a lowkey pastime of talking in-character in the most populated area of the game currently [from what i've seen - the area in the grounds near the lonely cave portal] i was wondering if active game members would share their thoughts on my question:

"do you like seeing just random conversations of day-to-day life like, 'oh yeah, i went out and bought a cool new t-shirt today!' or 'i had a weird dream!' or one-off/open/small canon [no big groups/rules/etc, not necessarily 'literate' but they show up for a few days/weeks and do their thing] roleplays more in the chat?"

dunno, just thought i'd shoot this out and see your thoughts~
[personally a fan of open in character chatting, it has lead to some great things for me]
they say the world is endin'

well maybe it's about time!
don't ask about the yellow flower
see you, space cowboy..

I actually enjoy hearing about someones day-to-day life! I'm one of those people who talk about it occasionally lol. I actually had some really amazing open IC roleplay back in the day and it led to new roleplay partners and friends.
Sometimes though, there are some groups/people that can be rude about barging into their local chat roleplay, but other than that, I enjoy it c:

I absolutely do!
I love reading people's conversations in local and most of the time chat with them too!
I feel like this is one amazing part of this game, you just type what you really mean and with most people here, you can talk about everything without the second thought!

Either one. I like reading the rp's along with talking about regular stuff with people. I'm usually (if I'm on) sitting on what I like to call Recruiter Hill (the 'ramp' to LonelyCave from TheGrounds), talking about random stuff mostly, and watching video clips out of boredom. lol

Heh, that sounds an awful lot like conversation I'd like to participate in! I think that could really help bring the community closer together, at the very least. So yes, that'd be very nice.
