Whether you're on youtube or any other site ya go to, what's your reason for blocking someone?


Me? Well, it's usually trolls who go too far.

I put down other, as my way of saying all of above, and more. Because it really depends on what they are doing, and to the extent that they do it.

Hardly ever at all. Only if they are completely harassing me and my friends.

I never block people. xD I guess I just see no sense in it. I mean, you block them, but it really does nothing except you can't see what the person is saying, etc.

I've had to block people on other games before. Mostly, it was for being ceaselessly obnoxious day after day after day, and after other people have told them to stop being disruptive to no avail. I have an unfortunately hard time ignoring people when they're getting on my nerves, which also happens much too easily sometimes. When somebody's immaturity or superiority complex or whatever else gets in the way of me enjoying a game, I have no choice but to block them.

Sure, it doesn't really get rid of them or do anything to correct their behavior, but it does help me pretend they don't exist and get back to having fun with the game. Fortunately I haven't had to block anyone on FH so far.

I'd have to agree with what Caelstis. Sure, blocking doesn't completely get rid of the person or punish them, but at least they leave you alone xD
Sometimes if you don't block the person, they're either disrupting an rp or chat you are having with friends, which could get very annoying. You can ask them to leave but people for some reason get VERY offensive about it, even if your asking nicely (had this happen to me a few times) :/
This can also prevents arguments you may start between the person, and no one's time has to be wasted ^.^ (very useful for trolls).

I had to choose annoyed, because that fit the description for my attitude toward all of the reasons that were listed haha.
