« on: March 03, 2020, 03:50:56 am »i have a lot of dreams about being kidnapped/people..anthropomorphic animals tryna kidnap me and it's usually very.. location-heavy.
i also had one where some characters acted exactly as they would if it were just a normal scenario being roleplayed out and i'm kinda shook my brain took the liberties to have everyone be normal and then just have squishy me as the silent witness.

copy-pasting links is sort of iffy but i get the intent behind wanting it in game. tinyurl gets old after a while.
custom text color+sizing i feel like should come with individuals being able to change the chatbox color/opacity too.

« on: March 02, 2020, 02:51:35 am »adding onto the game being 10 - i feel like i should jump in and say the staff didn't have the source code for a majority of those years. updates regarding anything that wasn't purely cosmetic were simply impossible and so players struck out and made a wide variety of original content. custom maps, markings, items, interfaces, etc just to keep things fresh for themselves.
a lot of the players aren't seen because they could be in private maps roleplaying, you could've been at the wrong place at the wrong time, anything, really. i promise people log in.

« on: March 02, 2020, 02:33:04 am »i think it'd be fine if general came back, the game is more subdued, at least, in terms of the sheer number of people playing. i do get that it's pretty rowdy at times but rowdiness will find an outlet, and like queen said, most people are all in one place anyways [guilty as charged lol] so i think it'd be fine either way.
the thing is, i have a feeling if more of the playerbase used the forums, we'd have a lot of group recruiters plugging for it to come back. maybe not, tho. i do see a lot of people these days putting out adverts on the forums and leaving up a discord link which is a lot easier than making people say, tinyurl to join a group they might not stick around for. it's kind of always been a bit of hassle to advertise on this game, general or not, because if you're going for a professional [map/discord/site/whatever] thing, you can't put in links and either have to trust people's ability to copy a link or tinyurl it.
it's not that much work, but it can be a deterrent, at least imo.
could swing either way. i'm usually distracted enough as i play that i don't mind either way if the green comes back or not.

« on: March 02, 2020, 02:22:46 am »i'd love for the report button to have an actual use, i actually kinda anticipate that more than any of the "activity" related tabs that came with the last update, if i'm being honest. can't say anything beyond that which won't just be repetition, this thread kinda hits the nail on the head.
