Yes.  Pitbulls are very misunderstood.  Very loyal.  Very protective.  Overall they are very close to German shephards.  Thing is the pitbulls are even more territorial and have a more dangerous aggression threshold.  Mishandling leads to very dangerous and nervous animals.

We created them that way. In the end it is humans that influence a nature that is buried beneath.

I saw wolf eels at the Morro Bay Aquarium, and I just couldn't get over those wicked-looking teeth!

Squid in general are incredible, awe-inspiring animals. When one thinks of 'animal intelligence', the creatures that come to mind are usually the cute and cuddly ones, like chimps or dolphins. You look at this pulpy, bizarre-looking seabeast with tentacles, and you wouldn't think of it as being 'intelligent', but it's cognitive ability is akin to that of a human child, which is pretty incredible (especially for a cephalopod). And the Humbodlt squids hunt in packs, just like our own beloved wolves do, which is pretty awesome.

Speaking of animal intelligence, hyenas are pretty smart too, maybe even rivaling the smarts of primates. Take that, Simba!

I've never heard of half of the animals you listed and the "Jersey Devils" give me serious nightmares (thanks a lot poptropica for making that worse)

I really love isopods, they're just the cutest thing ever.

My favorite type of cat is the Manul. <3

Tapirs are also cool, I like their noses.

When I saw this picture, I squeed aloud. It's just too cute for words.


I just love the weird facial expressions Pallas cats make, like grumpy little old men.

Tapirs are adorable. When I saw them at the zoo for the first time, I fell in love with them. They were all sleeping in their enclosures, looking so cute and fat and happy, and I wanted to use their big bellies as pillows and lay on them. :3

Pigs are a lot smarter (and cleaner) than people give them credit for. Intelligent and tasty! lol

And I just thought of another one.


I actually prefer coyotes to wolves simply because of their curiosity and resilience. Wolves were nearly eradicated in the '30s, yet coyotes (who were treated the same way) survived and continue to survive to this day, no matter what hunters and trappers throw at them. They win at evolution forever, and I admire that in an animal.
