Feral Heart

    My main warrior cat oc. Born at the wrong time and wrong place, he's a pretty confused and scarred cat. He was the second oldest of the litter of 5. Only three of the cats survived during the first few days of the birthing. The youngest two unfortunately never did so. Once his father of the city clan cats, RavagedStar, found out that his mate, Myska, had actually been a renegade Forest Cat from Tundra Clan, he immediately deemed the she cat as a traitor. He ordered his clan to attack her and chased her to the forest borders, where she was believe to have fallen into star clan's paws. Slaterift and his brothers were never told of this, though were left to train in the clan to see if they had potential. The clan purposely trained and treated them brutally to get the young cats to toughen up, though it did not always work. Once they were of warrior's age, Ravagedstar tested the cats personally in a duel to see if they were worthy of becoming of there clan blood. Slaterift did not pass and along with his younger brother were left brutally ravaged in the fight. The lead tom ordered for the clan to put them out of their misery and after welcome the only young cat that had endured the fight well enough. Fear struck the young gray cat and he mustered much of his strength in his weak state to escape to the forest borders, collapsing once soon in his safety. An entire day had gone by and he was sure himself that he would be dead, but soon awoke to a older long haired cream golden colored tabby. The she cat told him that she had found him and revived him using her medical knowledge of herbs and was lucky the herbs required were close by. After more talking, he learned that this mysterious new cat was known a Havenfeather, the former medicine cat of Twilight Clan. She had been exiled for failing her duties as one and was accused of being a traitor. After talking, she brought up how she knew many more cats that were exiled unjustly and her dreams of making one unified clan. This interested the young tom and he begged to join her, saying he sometimes wished the same. He was accepted. The two then rallied the outside cats, preaching to them about a new era where every cat is equal without clan borders or hardships with prey. That they would make the forests a paradise and peaceful. The clan came to be known and feared as Astral Clan, with the two acquiring the names Havenstar and Slaterift. He would soon to ascend to Slatestar, having much vengence and now corruption in his heart after the leader of Twilight Clan, Fallenstar, had tracked down and personally took down Havenstar after threatening his clan and killing many of his warriors.

Storyline          

     50 years ago something terrible happened, a black mist started appearing across the land of Argwyll. It contained evil creatures and wherever it spread to, the land was ravaged and wasted by monsters. The princess from the kingdom of Alanjeh stopped both the black mist and The God Of Destruction commanding these beasts. Using her rune stone  to summon monsters from her own cards, she sealed them away, never to be seen or heard from again.

     Years have passed since the struggle against the monsters of the black mist. Since those dark times, there has been peace and prosperity among the now at rest kingdoms. Each kingdom has their rune stone back into the royal bloodline, though they aren't the only ones with the power of these stones. Modern Alchemists have found a cheap way to make counterfeit runes tones with much less magical properties, but they still can nevertheless summon beasts sealed away within silver cards. Now, it seems anyone can afford one, families, businessmen, rogues, thieves and even children. Because of this, many villages have turned into chaos on the streets with the monsters running rampant on the streets in duels for money and power.



Time Period and History          

     It nearing the end of the 18th century. Guns have been invented, but the models available are a hassle to reload (No weapons from WWI and on are allowed.) Most houses are still made out of cemented stone and there is no paved streets, only rock and stone roads. People travel by horseback or some by a summoned beast if they have a runestone. The large province of Argwyll is split into five kingdoms, each being ruled by a king or queen. Each ruler has limited power, so that the government can be prevented from turning into a tyranny. Many citizens are field workers that are paid under the rich families. There is also many thieving organizations operating under the government's eye. Those found involved in the affairs of thieves are usually sentenced to death since most may go to extremes to get their paws on money.

Elements

    There are five of them. Wood, Fire, Earth and Water. The fifth is neutral and, as its name suggests, it is nor weak or strong to any element. Wood beats Earth, Earth beats Water, Water puts out Fire, and Fire burns Wood. Just think of it as a condensed version of Pokemon.

Runestones

   Runestones are stones with highly magical properties. The original that come from the royal households are much stronger than others as they have powers beyond the duplicates. One can not summon the beasts sealed in cards without either sort though.


Card Types

    Weapon: Monster instantly attacks in front of you. Can usually be used multiple times.
    Independent: Summoned creature that remains on the battlefield until it gets killed or the time runs out. One use only.
    Summoned: The monster appears, performs its attack and vanishes. Either one use or multiple use. Note that some of these cards heal you.
    Trap: A special type of independent creature that stays in one spot. When an enemy approaches, the trap is set off and the creature vanishes.
    Orbit: Basically, these independent creatures continuously circle around the character like a shield, damaging anyone who gets too close.
    Transform: These allow you to transform into the creature summoned until it loses the strength to support any more attacks.

(I was searching a bit through all of the past rps on here and have noticed there are so many dead anime roleplays! x.x Inuyasha, Naruto, Bleach, FMA, Black Butler, you name it! So, why not make a crossover roleplay?)

   Try to keep your character 'in character' as into what thoughts and actions they would do. Its ok if your not perfect at it, as no one will be, but don't make the shy girl become an obnoxious god complex character and a villain into the man of your dreams who loves longs strolls on the beach, writing poetry and kissing his girlfriend. (I'm talking to you obsessive fanfic fangirls xD). If you are using an OC then this doesn't apply to that character.

I'm working on this preset for the next couple days coming up and right now im stuck about how i am going to do the wings for it. They are going to look similar to the blue flames below:



I'm pretty sure that I would need to make it as anim_texture for the flames to move in a few frames, but i have no clue how to add that translucent effect since I've never used it before. I don't want it to be too light but i still want the flames to be see through as shown. So my question is, how would I code the texture so its animated and a bit translucent?
