Oh, and let's not forget Sura publicly posting someone's supposed alternate accounts/doing an I.P search and posting the (censored) results. Quite threatening and in horrible taste.

Regarding the helplines, you have to know that's nonsense. "We don't want to be held responsible if someone doesn't get help. So we removed the resources someone could use to get help" and ""It looks offical""? It's a suicide hotline number. You see them posted on the walls in train stations, you can host some on your website. You won't get sued. That's ridiculous.

For Sura? Yeah, no. Just going on a ban-spree in response to people asking very civil questions and all we get is an "I'm sorry"? What were you trying to prevent from escalating? There was no escalating until you started locking threads and banning people.

I'm gonna need more than "I'm sorry I'll do better." I need you to step down. You banned people who weren't even participating.

As for the GDPR guidelines, while you are within your rights to keep the data to uphold a ban, you must provide a concrete way to contact you to request account deletion. Just because you can choose to keep the data does not revoke one's right to request it deleted anyway. I suggest having an email or something, as I've looked and there is no real directions on who and where to contact about it.

Also you're on shaky grounds with that to begin with, because we know you can just do an I.P ban, and I fail to see how you need someone's account to just block their I.P

All in all, a horrible ''apology'' and it seems like nothing's going to change. Congrats on messing up something this simple, I suppose.

All privacy policy concerns have been swept under the rug and their privacy policy page as it is right now, as well as their treatment of it, are not compliant with the GDPR, which means they are breaking laws in the EU

They deleted help hotline numbers because they didn't want to be held responsible if someone chose not to seek help/got hurt/didn't get the help they need. Which is like saying "Let's not call the ambulance just in case in makes things worse/Let's not teach kids how to dial 911." The only real reason it was deleted was because XSpirit wrote it.

And what have the FHU staff done? Get a little snippy, maybe, but that's not on the same level. Not remotely.

Just because Sura might not have broken a law, showing that she is willing to search for I.P information and post even a censored version of it is in horrible taste. Especially posting it to the public. One might even call it threatening.

Also, the fact people who are banned have no reliable way to contact staff and ask for a complete account deletion goes against GDPR guidelines.

Mate, nobody is personally targeting you. We're replying to you. We're still being as civil as we can be about this.
And you're not being "calm and professional". This is actually the most uncalm and unprofessional I've seen ANYONE. Not even just on FeralHeart. It's incredibly disgusting and disappointing and I can't believe these are words coming out of a MODERATOR'S mouth.

You shouldn't have replied in the first place because as you admitted yourself, you don't know the full situation. You weren't here to see it all. We have been, though. And at this point... they weren't opinions. You were being passive-aggressive and acting like you were factual and we weren't.
It's upsetting the way things are being ran here and we're calling for change, accountability, and for everyone to be unbanned and apologized to.

We have not targeted you. There has been no passive aggression or talking-down like you have done. We have provided evidence for our claims and have stated clearly what we want, and yet you dodge the question and claim victim.

We are being civil, but we are not letting you dodge the point. if you call the ''targeting'' then I don't know what to tell you.

You signed up for what is essentially a customer service job. This is what customer service is, and in my experience we've been a lot more civil that what you'd get working retail.

And like you said, you're not being paid. If you feel the responsibilities of a moderator are too demanding, you can leave any time you like.

But yes, as a representative of the FH staff team, essentially working in customer service and representing a brand, it is your job to remain professional

As staff it is your job to be civil even when the members are not. That is your job as the ones who signed up to keep the order. You are still human, and you are allowed to make mistakes and get angry. But it's your job to maintain civility, and therefore it is your responsibility to own your mistakes and step back when you feel you are too upset to do your job.

Your comment was the exact opposite of that.

I'm saying this trying to point out that you are not in a position to be speaking down to us ''if we only knew what was going on behind the scenes'' as it seems you are as out of the loop and upset as we are.

Bruh, yea id love to send the proof but it isnt my decision to hand them out to individuals especially if idk where they're going and how they're being interpreted.

Okay but the issues we have are staff breaking rules and soft-doxxing. Those are the issues. If you won't address them, then why comment? Those are what we want addressed.
