Although he probably will not be around to read this since he has longed poofed into the abyss now I figured it would be nice to wish him well wherever he is out there and to show some appreciation for this great game he created for everyone.


Thank you for sharing your wonderful creations with us. Because of you so many of us who use Impressive Title & Feral Heart who love to roleplay have had the privilege of exploring our imaginations further through these games. Whether we role play or not though we've all had the opportunity to meet some really awesome and unique individuals in this community as well as create many silly memories together. Thank you for all the hard work and effort you put into this game. I hope one day you return to this community and continue your work here. We all miss you.

I don't usually do alot of ranting or complaining in general but this month I've had enough. Several times between Nov of last year to this month I've had preset requests coming into my inbox. I don't mind preset requests at all because I love making presets especially for other users but what I do mind is unappreciative people asking me for a preset. What do I mean by this? I mean the kind of people that come to me and give me screenshots of a beautiful preset someone already made of their character and tell me to redo it because they hate it. This has happened to me a total of 5 times within just 3 months... and each time I have denied the individual. Often these individuals excuse for not using the other persons preset is something stupid like I don't like how the nose looks, or the pelt is to dark now and I decided I want it lighter, or it's my fursona and this preset looks nothing like it (mean while I look at her fursona reference and the preset and they look exactly alike). Each time the preset that was already made for the person is incredibly beautiful and full of detail and exactly matches their reference... so what's going on here?

My reason for getting upset over this is because these individuals will refuse to use an entire preset over one tiny invisible "flaw". These presets are literally small works of art that each preset maker puts their own time & effort into making just to make them happy and they're just going to waste it. Then these people have the nerve to ask me to redo the preset... why so you can ditch my design to maybe? Worst thing is that this doesn't just happen with presets around here it even happens with art requests... Just a few weeks ago I looked at the art request section and noticed a particular individual asking for a certain picture to be made for use as a signature... The artist returned them with a lovely copy of the reference and what did the person do? They never thanked the artist nor did they use the artist's picture in their signature but instead went on requesting the same picture be redone by someone else. -face paw- I mean REALLY! People how could you be so down right rude and ungrateful? Well it didn't end there the second person made this idividual their art and yet again the person didn't use that picture either and instead went to DA and created a post that explained how no one has made this picture as beautiful as they imagined so please make it for them. So they want a masterpiece made out of a really terrible reference? I'll be blunt but that person is lucky they got any kind of art for what they were giving people as a reference. If they want something better then they should do it themself. Same said for presets.
- Alot of artist charge money for things like this. Be grateful that someone is doing it for you for FREE!
- These things take time to make. (time that alot of us could be using doing better things...trust me)

I often notice people asking the same questions on the Game & Site/Forum Help Sections of the forum. Infact some questions are so commonly asked that it's come to the point where I have actually made reference notepads in my computer with solutions for some of these most commonly asked questions. Today I thought to myself how convenient would it be if there was a post that had the answers to most users' questions & issues. I do realize that there is the BIG HELP thread and while it is very helpful there is alot more that can be added to it. The thing is I understand that the post gets very long after a while of adding things to it.

So here's my suggestion:

 How about splitting the BIG HELP thread in half into one BIG GAME HELP thread & the other into a BIG SITE/FORUM HELP thread and then placing these as permanent locked sticky threads in the corresponding help sections? It would make finding the solutions to most issues much easier if these two solution filled threads were made easily noticeable and accessible in those sections. From there more content can be filled into them and all users would have to do is click them and scroll down the "table of contents" list of common issues & their solutions.
Example: under the BIG GAME HELP Thread you'd read the list of common game issues like Feral Heart.exe error message, graphical issues, white meshes, map maker crashes etc. From there the user can click any of those terms and be transferred to the section of the post that discusses that particular issue. Same would go for the BIG SITE/FORUM HELP thread under it you'll read How to upload avatars, adding signatures, log in trouble, changing username etc.

Commonly used fixes from other threads can then be linked to each individual section example: Feral Heart + Black screen under the BIG GAME HELP Thread. User clicks that and is transferred to the section of the big post that talks about Feral Heart + Black Screen issues and on that they'll see Sameth's link to the fix. Or under the table of contents users click Map Maker Crashes and are lead to the section of the post that discusses that and within that section they find a link to Delay's tips etc.

I don't want anyone to think I'm saying that the current method is not good but I just feel like it's not as effiecient as it could be. With my suggestion's method users wouldn't have to use the search box as often to search up possibly old unanswered threads with their same issue or threads that may not explore other solutions that can help them. With the sticky solution threads right in their corresponding help sections users need not look far for advice.

Anyway that's the idea... Unfortunately I do understand that it might require alot of work but I appreciate your feedback negative or positive as long as it's constructive. Share your opinions.
