Full and Light?

Could someone elaborate on what the difference is between Full and Light versions are?

I think full gets you the things that you might need as well as what you might not need ( doesn't get ) if that makes sense.

From my understanding, usually 'light' versions of games are the easier to run ones. The game won't be as detailed or have as good quality, but it will run faster on your computer.
