Heheh. So yah. This thread is about my snails
I think that snails are cute things that are fun to have around. Seriously, they pretty much take care of themselves. All you do is feed and water them... xD

I'm guessing you came onto this thread expecting dogs. Nu. Go away. Dis thread is FAR from dogs.
Anyway... Moving on.... In total, I have around 15-16, not including eggs....
Nope. We had to release some because the snails other from the adults started laying eggs. And with one batch of eggs already growing.. I guess you can see what happened there. Right now though, we have the two adults, the biggest of the ones I raised and the midget, or the smallest from the last group of eggs. Though, the eggs on the bottom of the tank have started hatching; at least four of them have gotten to the surface as of now. At least we still have some memories of the others in this thread . So yesh.

Yerp... Three of them decided to get in the water together... But they couldn't get out so I ended up pushing them out xD

I remember keeping a snail for a friend in a cage a time ago. It laid eggs, but then the woolly bear that lived with the snail started to eat some eggs because I didn't have enough leaves. The woolly bear died, then I left the cage outside, letting it get filled with rainwater. I don't know if the babies that have hatched earlier survived the "flood".

Also, I remember keeping a snail for a project in I think 5th or 4th grade. I remember it trying to eat my finger. lol

That's way too cool! Honestly that's amazing! I wish I could have a pet snail or two, but I'd worry about the food and water, you look like you have your own little group there. They are some pretty awesome creatures, the way they look and everything, love them!

At first I thought this thread was going to be about FH friends and such, but I was surprised to see that it was about snails. I honestly think snails are creepy and..adorable, I guess, at the same time. It's nice to hear that you are caring for these guys, and you enjoy them. ^^ The snail pile picture made me smile. :3 Thanks for sharing these with us!

At first I thought this thread was going to be about FH friends and such, but I was surprised to see that it was about snails.

I too thought this only to be surprised to witness a hoard of pet snails creepin' around in their tank. An interestin' bunch ye' have, Ms. Icy. I've never seen that kind of snail before neither did I know some species of snail could get that big. I've learned somethin' new in viewin' this thread. Thank ye' for showin' us yer little band, ma'am.

Ah, snails!

I love them actually, that's my surprised "Ah". Where I live, there are thousands of snails and insects. They make the land so beautiful and full of colors, great job photographing. It gives me great memory the last time I touched a snail.

It reminds me of turbo the fast snail because of the carrots and lettuce. Yum! :3
