Gif issues [Please lock]
« on: February 13, 2017, 11:03:54 pm »
I've been wanting to add a gif to my siggy for a while. I'm trying to add this one https://www.gifgif.io/ue3bCW.mp4
I'm using this code for it:
Code: [Select]
But whenever I try to put it in. A weird icon pops up instead. What am I doing wrong? :c

The gif you're trying to use is actually a video, not a .gif file ^^ It won't work with the code.

Make sure you right click the gif and click "Copy image address" That's the one you paste in the code~
That's what I'm doing :c

Darn :c
Not sure how to make it a gif file. I'm using a website to make it.
Do I have to download the gif into a .gif file?

Jellie, some sites aren't compatible with Ferlheart. Try using Postimage, it's free and I presume it will work with your siggy.

EDIT: Maybe go with downloading a GIF from Tumblr or Google? ;; I know there are some websites that do make GIFS.
Good luck!<3

The image must be a .gif file if you want to use it with the code, yes :c
Although you can use this: http://ezgif.com/video-to-gif
Just paste the url of that video you wanna use into there and make sure you download it once you're done. You can then upload it to an image hosting site such as photobucket or imgur (tinypic doesn't work) and then it should be all set!

EDIT: Oh! Glad you got it fixed ^^
