how do you get people to join your groups?

i've made probably 3 groups on the forums now and i made one after the other because the group would die before anybody joins, all the topics around me would get members but mine would have 100+ views and 0 comments so i've been wondering, what do you do to get people to join your group?

Advertise on FH, with a friend or something. (Make a video describing it)

i advertise all the time and i can't make videos, i get the same problem :/ i also advertise at the cape portal but people always ignore my ads. and i always wait before posting things like this but my groups have been out for a few days, even weeks

I advertise in game, every day for at least an hour, or I stop when I have 5 people online and go and start a RP. You'll start with a small number of members at first, but if your roleplay is fun, they will ask their friends to join.

My forum thread for my RP has 0 posts. I don't mind, it's all in-game anyways.

When you make a forum post, you want to make it attractive and catch the reader's attention.  If they like the way it's organized and the way it looks, the might read it and decide "Well this sounds fun, I want to join."  Hope this helps!

If advertising in-game isn't working, then whatever you're saying isn't very catchy. Try saying different things. Sometimes I go for half an hour or more before I get any bites at all.

  I try to get people to join mine by making the thread very interesting to read, detailed, and designed well. It doesn't always work because sometimes people are simply not interested.
