Feral Heart

Feeling unsure of my awkward toon style, again. Pretty normal... Would love some outsiders' perspectives of it. So i tired to download the legendary textures and items pack. But it keeps telling me I need to download the latest patch, even though I'm sure I have it. The odd thing is, before I tried to get those new features the game played just fine! Then when I tried to move the new files in it stopped working and kept saying to update it. I was just wanting to be able to see people's characters instead of white textureless masses.
I've deleted and redownloaded the initial "FeralHeart Game Setup" and patch twice now trying to just reset it all before trying again to add the new files, but I guess I've just broke it- As it now won't even accept the patch, it won't even start again to just play it without the legendary stuff like it was doing before?? The second time around I noticed the old exe didn't pop up with the installer to even replace it and I was only prompted to do so when replacing the patched exe with a second copy of itself. Looked as if it only downloaded the installer and not the game. Was it because I had the legendary files and new exe waiting elsewhere to replace the original files? Like my computer was like "oh lol don't need those duplicate named files at all then." Am I going to have to delete ALL of the feral heart related files then in order to start over? I had difficulties downloading the legendary files though, that's why I saved them elsewhere on my computer... I don't have any idea of what's going on or if I explained it right. I'm just so confused and tired-
