Updated forum with slight edits. Information now better organized, interesting contests and events on the site listed and hotlinked the game directly for anyone that would like to download it.

Also added new incentives for joining the Whiskerwick forum. Get 100 site currency and free pets just for introducing yourself on the forum and mentioning that "Copper sent you".

Hooray for a blast of nostalgia!
It's been around for 21 years now. I imagine that's older than many of the people that use these forums even.

Work In Progress Maps & Map Discussion / Transport Ship WIP
« on: August 06, 2015, 04:06:50 am »
Comments, critiques and suggestions are always welcome and encouraged.

This ship is part of a "Lunar Surface" map I'm making and I'm just trying to get back into the hang of making maps after such a long hiatus. Lots of object re-textures. Not pictured is the crew hangout area / hidden wall compartments / Control room. I feel like there's not nearly enough spacecraft themed maps out there so here's my try at one.

General view of the Cargo Bay. Control room up front, Airducts to the left, Metal Walkway to the right and crew quarters on the other side of the walkway.

It has 6 uniquely decorated crew cabins. I tried not to fandom but I ended up fandoming a lot throughout the ship so there's five "Firefly" references hidden in it

The Airducts in the ship are all walkable because nearly every space movie ever have people crawling through or hiding in airducts.

General storage area thing. Somefloof was very careless and overturned one of the crates containing bottles.

So yeah that's what I have so far. I still need to come up with some stuff for the terrain that surrounds the ship and do some touch up work here and there but I figured it would be worth sharing.

Game Help / Preset Help [White Eyes / White Tail / Transparency issues]
« on: January 02, 2015, 10:32:05 pm »
Help Please! I'm having three separate issues here.

I've been gone from FH for a few years and redownloaded an old Preset and wanted to export it but it seems the eyes are marshmallows. Not sure what has happened as it used to work just fine.

Second issue is with a different preset. A new one I had to tweak a little. I'm having the same eye issues but for some reason also tail issues with this one. I was also work with transparency on the feet that isn't showing up in the preset maker, the two digits on the paw sides shouldn't be there but they are. Again I'm not sure what I did or how to fix it. If anyone can fix my sheepie for me I'd be happy to let you have a copy of that particular preset if you'd like.

Any help is very much appreciated. <3

Finished Maps / The Edenwood Forest & Loch Leven Map Pack [PUBLIC]
« on: January 01, 2015, 09:09:22 pm »
My four year Feral Heart Hiatus came to an abrupt end when I found some of my old maps on Mediafire. All of them have since been updated but I would love to release the older versions of the maps here for public use because if even one person uses them it's better than them not being used at all. There is one map and one larger map-pack

.:. The Edenwood Forest .:.

The Edenwood Forest was for a post-apocalyptic roleplay I ran a five years ago. A vast and unforgiving desert separates six camps in various degrees of decay. A large  forest called Edenwood takes up the esternpart of the map and is a place of refuge for all creatures in the land.

What time is it in Edenwood?

You do NOT need the preset file. Also if you have the items pack or don't want new items then you don't need the items.

.:. The Loch Leven Map Pack.:.

The Loch Levens was a Fox Roleplay group I started years ago and they and all the former members are till very dear to my heart even now. I redid these maps shortly before quitting FH so there are a few bugs with these maps. A few floating trees and a portal that shoots you out of the side of the wall but they are still some of my favorite maps ever. Especially the Spirit Tunnel and the Healers Den. I still hang out in them a lot because nostalgia is awesome.

Download is in two parts. You need both. All files go directly into Exports.

Questions?

Can I / My group roleplay here?
Yes. Go for it. No need to ask my permission. So long as you do not claim any of the maps as your own.

Can I / My group claim territories?
Yes and No. If you are roleplaying then you may "claim" a territory but I don't ever want to see any of this "this is my den get out of here" nonsense going on when talking to other players. If someone is roleplaying and you are being a pest stop it. If someone is just walking by "your territory" and not bothering you at all don't be annoying.

Can you change this one thing in the map?
No. I don't have any of my old map files. I cannot change anything.

The St Serf Tree bridge is hard.
I know it is. That's why I scrapped that map and redid it a few years ago. You can get up it though I promise. It's really not that hard just aim for the middle of the tree and either walk or jump up it.

I can't find the portals in the Loch Leven Maps!
Tough bananas :D Half the fun of new maps is finding the portals. However a helpful guide to what links where is below.

The Underloch Cavern links to Castle Kinross and Isle St Serf
Castle Kinross Links to The Castle Courtyard
Isle St Serf links to Great Oak Den
The Great Oak Den links to Healers Den and Fingals Cave
Fingals Cave links to Spirit Tunnel
Spirit Tunnel links to The Hall of Spirits

I have another question!
Either pm me here on the forums or whisper me in-game at HeroOfCanton
