« on: October 11, 2016, 11:08:16 am »
My game crashes as soon as i load it. I've tried re-downloading, but that does not work either.
Find me in game as: Danicoolgirl.

Have you installed any mods recently? Have you tried changing your rendering system?

You can always try changing the rendering system manually. Find the "ogre.cfg" file located in your FH folder. Open it in notepad and the first two lines should look something like this:

Render System=OpenGL Rendering Subsystem
[OpenGL Rendering Subsystem]

If yours says "Direct3D9" change it to look like mine (what i just posted) and if it says OpenGL, replace it with Direct3D9.

That looks like it could be a particle issue. Duplicate particles are a common culprit in causing the game to crash that way. Take a look in your particles folder and delete any duplicates you see (files ending in _0, _1, etc). Once that's done then you should be able to open FH again.

Or have you downloaded any objects or items recently? I don't think all objects or items are compatible with the update for the game and may cause problems like crashing (at least some objects have done that to me anyway).

I'm guessing here, but when you reinstalled FH, did you delete the FH folder from your computer after uninstalling it first? It's recommended that you delete the folder from your C: drive before reinstalling, as the problems you previously had can carry over to the new game. Back up any files you'd want, such as presets, maps, objects and the like, and then uninstall and delete the folder. Reinstall, move your backed up files to their correct locations (as long as they aren't the cause of the problem), and it should be good to go.

I have downloaded a map, but I could play it shortly after that then it went all, weird XD
EDIT: Deleted all duplicate particles, it works! Thank youuu!

Try deleting any sky/weather files that came with the map (if the map came with any)

Edit: Oh, I see it works now ^^ Locking this
