Item Troubles
« on: May 01, 2018, 07:15:29 pm »
So I know how to convert models into usable FH objects, easy. Now I'm attempting to get those objects onto characters as wearable items. HOWEVER, I need some assistance.

I understand the basics of what each section of coding does in the items.cfg, though it's painstakingly tedious to change one tiny bit of code and load up FH to see what it changed, especially as I'm experimenting right now with item placement.

I've searched everywhere for an actual tutorial that explains how to position items but I cannot find one. Would anyone be willing to help?? <3

i recommenced copying an existing items position and editing from there if you haven't already. placing an item will require a lot of testing.

Even my best friend at this moment in time, and possibly for time to come uses the trial & error method. Welcome to the rial & error club Bloo.  :)

Do you have the installer?  put in a second one with no mod's for faster restarts.  (but you probably did that already)

Try replacing the Watermill map? I've yet to try replacing the Watermill map but if your Watermill is a scrolling void then FH might load faster. Also turn some interface textures into pixels(And re-size other textures to 100x100) might help FH load faster as well.

My presets.
