Introduction / it me, ya boi

So uhhhhh

been a while, FH. lmao


For those who probably don't know me, I practically lived on this forum/game for many years starting back in 2013

I randomly stumbled across a Youtube video about FH today and was like "oh yeah, I forgot about that game, wonder what's goin' on" so here i am lmao

i've made so many wonderful friends here in my time around here, and I honestly really miss y'all!
I still RP a lot, and still love developing stories with my characters, so if anyone ever wants to RP or just wants to chat about the good 'ol days like a couple of old geezers, hmu here or on Discord at Jackkdaw#9939 <3

Though it's clear this game is well past the prime it was in back in the day, the soft spot I have for it won't allow me to let go of it just yet haha
Maybe I'll stalk around the forums a bit more often now that I'm fully sinking into that sweet sweet nostalgia  (;

'Allo fluffs.

Since I haven't been 'round the forum in a good year or so, I figured I'd make a new art thread with all my recent stuff just for kicks and giggles.

I'm 100% open to critiques, and would love to see what ye all have to say.

Hi yes hello

My name around here is Jackdaw, obviously. You can call me Jack, or Jimmy, or stupidhead or whatever you want, really.

My main character is this lil pirate doge here:



In real life, I am a 5'1", 22 year old scrawny blonde chick.

A few passions of mine include art (which you can find on my Deviantart here --> http://jackkdaw.deviantart.com/ )
but my life mostly revolves around NHL hockey lol.
The Tampa Bay Lightning are my homeboys and I would die for them tbh.
I work at the Lightning arena, so I get to see the players before each game. Some of them I'm actually pretty tight with.

My favorite animal is a thylacine, though coyotes and wolves follow closely behind.

I'm currently living with boyfriend

I have two dogs. A 4-year-old boxer dumbo named Tyson, and our newest edition to the family- Whiskey, who is a German Shepherd/Siberian husky mix and is not even a year old yet.

Fun facts:

Most of my characters are named after hockey players, or inspired by video game characters.

I have a weird love for taxidermy. I like to collect skulls and pelts. I currently own three coyote skulls, a sheep skull, a set of shark jaws, and two full bodied coyote soft-mounts.

Nikita Kucherov and Artemi Panarin are my favorite hockey players

I'm a Libra

I'm a Christian

My favorite video games are Assassin's Creed Black Flag, Far Cry 4, and NHL 17

Like I said before, I love drawing. I mostly draw canines and other animals, but sometimes I draw people (aka hockey players doing stupid stuff). I usually draw digitally via Paint Tool SAI and a Wacom tablet, but when I draw people, I draw traditionally with colored pencils. I like drawing stupid stuff too sometimes.

For those who do, hi yes hello, I have made my glorious, triumphant return.
Wow it's been a while since I've been around here.

I'm more than sure there's a million newer floofs 'round here who have no idea who I am, so to ye I say, hello friends.

Jackdaw's back after taking an extended-ish spontaneous leave of absence.
Life sure has been crazy! I fully intend to get back involved with this lovely community. As much as I try, I can't seem to stay away for too long. FH has been such a big part of my life since 2011. Wow it's been so long lol. I love you guys and the community too much

Anywho, I look forward to being back around my old friends here, and making brand new one's.

I haven't been 'round the forum in a long while as some of you may know, so I figured I'd post a new bio 'ere.


Aboot me:

For all 'ye creepers, here's a photo of meh (and Tyler Johnson from the Tampa Bay Lightning ; D )

look how frickin' short he is. I'm 5'1" x'D


and here's one of me and Nikita Kucherov because he's sexy (I made him reaaaaally uncomfortable because I like- leaned into him for the picture bc i wanted to make physical contact , so he looks like he wants to die, understandably)
look we have matching jeans it's basically canon

I'm feeling super lazy, so I'll just give you a simple list that describes everythin' I'm all about.

-I'm currently 21 years old.

-I live in Florida

-If you can't already tell, I'm a HUGE hockey fan. The Tampa Bay Lightning are mah boys, but I also like the Chicago Blackhawks.

-I have a boxer dog named Tyson, and two hairless guinea pigs named Stamkos and Hedman ;3

-I currently work at Amalie Arena (i basically get paid to watch Lightning hockey tbh) which is great because I see the players in the hallways all the time now ;3

-My favorite animal is a thylacine.

-I love video games like NHL 16, Fallout 4, Far Cry 4, and most of the Assassin's Creed games.

-I'm a Bible believing Christian

-I can eat my weight in tacos

-My favorite hockey player is Nikita Kucherov (also Ben Bishop. Also Victor Hedman. Also Ryan Callahan. Also Tyler Johnson. Also Jason Garrison. Also Brian Boyle. Also Jonathan Toews.)

-I play street hockey

-I love taxidermy, and have two coyote soft mounts

-I love the ocean

-dogs

-coffee

-pizza rolls

-single-ish (i've got one on the line ; D)

-I like fishing

-I own four Lightning jerseys, one of them I personally got signed by most of the team. (stalking has its advantages), and three game-used pucks (one autographed by Vladdy Namestnikov and Anton Stralman)

Just hockey things


some back story on this one- Stamkos is the Lightning team captain. A couple weeks ago we found out he had a blood clot and was going to miss the rest of the season and playoffs, and with his Tampa contract expiring this summer, everyone's terrified he's not gonna resign with us since he hasn't done it yet.
So this is my method of coping... (and how I imagine the team is, too lol)
(Hedman is weeping coz i ship them dont worry bout it)


Ok Ben Bishop (TBL goalie) is a literal titan, being 6'7". My sister wanted to see him in high heels so I had to oblige, ur welcome

Tyler Johnson is a tiny potato and makes the dumbest faces.


T-Johnny is a midget in the hockey world so this is how I imagine him more often than not

RECENTLY, I GOT MOST OF THE TEAM TO SIGN THIS BAD BOY, AND THIS IS WHY JOHNSON IS SCARED OF ME AND PROBABLY WHY STAMKOS IS GOING TO DECIDE TO LEAVE TAMPA THIS SUMMER LOL
STAMKOS WANTED TO KILL HIMSELF WHEN HE SIGNED IT I COULD TELL.
He unfolded it, and the smile kinda flushed from his face, and in a super monotone voice he just said "That's... pretty cool...."
When Hedman signed it, he just didn't say anything- just- slowly signed it with a straight face and so much pain in his eyes.
And Tyler, when I handed it to him, I was like "you're in there ; D" and he kinda stared at it for a long time and was like "..Oh yeah..."
No one else had a reaction to it tho like they were used to it LOL.
it was gr8.


I'm honestly sorry you had to see all that.

OhHHHhhh boy

I post here much more often than I should, waha.

How's it been, guys? ;D

I have decided to make a triumphant return.
I never really had plans of up 'n leaving so suddenly as I did.
Been hecka busy with life and junk.

Some updates.
I got a job workin' for my babs the Tampa Bay Lightning and Amalie Arena and honestly could not be happier because NHL hockey is literally what my life consists of now 24/7.
(i get to see the players a lot by the locker room mmm mmm. some of them are already scared of me bc i like stalked them all a lot before i got the job, so now that i work where they work, they're just like 'oh boy'. They like know me now it's gr8 lolol)

My hockey obsession makes up my whole existence right now, so if you see me rambling about players or making terrible hockey puns, slap me pls.


ANYWHO
for those who don't know me, (which is probably all of you now), hi.
