New Person Alert! Help, Please?

Hey all~

I just joined. This game looked really cool, although I do have a few questions:

First of all, (I'm such a noob) I can't even figure out how to download the game itself. ^^;; I know, pretty sad. Does it have anything to do with me using a Mac? Because when I press download, it opens a Windows thing, and at that point I'm not sure what to do. Pointers, please?

And also, I noticed all the characters/creatures are all super duper custom. Is there a generator, or how do you make them? I was just curious about that one. I'll probably will figure it out as soon as I start paying, but still. c:

And for the first one: I'm not sure. I use Windows. D:
And for the second one: There is a Character creator ingame, but if you want custom markings, you have to have a Preset made. c:

A Preset is a custom character made with colored UV Maps and imported into the game. You can have specific markings that the game itself does not have, look in the "Preset" section to see how these look when done. c: And if you want to make one, look at the Handbook. It explains the process very well.
