Maps Crashing?
« on: May 24, 2015, 11:47:16 pm »
I recently downloaded 3 maps, when I try to enter, FH completely crashes
I try to enter previous maps I have had, FH crashes still
Anyone think they know what might be going on?

I've tried numerous times
It keeps saying "FeralHeart has stopped working"

Hello, Seosaimhthin! To begin, try changing your rendering subsystem using the following quote.
Quote
First, try opening the ogre.cfg file located in the main Feralheart folder and take a look at the first two lines. It should either say either one of the following:
Quote
Render System=Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem
[Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem]
or
Render System=OpenGL Rendering Subsystem
[OpenGL Rendering Subsystem]
Now, if your ogre.cfg file is set to (for example) the Direct3D9 rendering subsystem, change it to the OpenGL rendering subsystem, and vise versa. Next, restart your game and see if the issue is fixed.
If that does not work for you, go into Feralheart\media\particles and look for any duplicate particle names ending in _0, _1, and so on. Make sure you delete those and restart Feralheart.

It won't let me change the rendering system and I have no partices ending with _0 or _1
