My First Preset (Need tips to make it better)

Ok well ive tried making a preset before, got confused and frustrated and gave up. Well that was a while ago but i tried again and i think i got the hang of it. Just need a few tips to help me make it better like fur textures and stuff. But i think its really good for a first start!

Since i started a realistic dog and cat group and it would be really nice to have more presets of dogs, i thought ill do something for my rp. So i did a beautiful light brown and cream colored Pitbull. Just need some tips on to make it better tho.

The mouth is what im having a problem with, it wont like go where the line of the mouth is! Its so weird and ive tried redrawing and everything its just weird! I would like some fur textures that would fit a pitbull to so if anyone knows how to do that please do tell me!

it looks good so far
add a fur texture(you can find some in free texture packs on google, or you can use the game's default texture)
idk about the lip though...are you sure your coloring the whole bottom lip?

Yeah i finished it the best i could, there are still those few minors but then again it is my first preset ever. Other than the few mistakes it turned out nice! http://rockonhammy.deviantart.com/#/d533snw I didnt show inside his mouth but he has like carvins on his canines and a pink tounge with a few purple spots!
