Game Discussion / Re: FeralHeart Memes
« on: April 03, 2016, 02:17:05 am »
I'm not sure if it's even a meme, but the whole sparkle-dog/sparkle-cat thing kinda makes me laugh. When I first came to FH back in 2012 I never knew such a term existed and I found it kinda funny that people would use that to describe brightely colored characters. I dun even know if it originated in FH, but I've seen some clever users make some jokes and/or memes out of the term. Like "zomg it's a spurkledawg" or something along the lines of that XD

Game Help / Re: Markings Help?
« on: April 02, 2016, 08:14:27 pm »
Hmm, this is quite a strange issue. Do you use Mass Markings that are not original to the game? The only thing I could think of is to try redownloading the marking pack and replacing all the current texture images and CFG file. Also, make sure that all your marking images are in the textures folder within the media folder in your FeralHeart folder. Also make sure that the markings.cfg file is in your FeralHeart folder.

Game Discussion / Re: What do you think of Last Cave?
« on: April 02, 2016, 08:06:05 pm »
Well, one of my first RPs here on FH was a demon role-play that took place in the Last Cave. At the time I was a newbie so I literally had no idea that place existed. I was so amazed when I got there and then swam for like forever until I reached the shore and then after role-playing there for a while I realized it was such a fitting place for dark or creepy packs/role-plays. I would always enjoy bringing my friends who had never been there there because they were always so amazed by the little "hidden" map. Nowadays I rarely leave the Plains, but paying a visit to the Last Cave here and there is always fun ^w^

A little late on the welcome as well, but welcome to FH! I hope you enjoy your time here c: It seems like those above me have already provided you with links and tips to get started and all. Making friends in this game is really simple and easy, as most, if not all of the community is very friendly and welcoming. As you continue to play the game, you'll find that there are a lot of areas in-game that are more populated than others, where making friends is made easy. :3 If you ever need any help or someone to talk to, don't hesitate to contact me, I'd love to help you out! Hope you have a fun time here!

Game Help / Re: Missing Map Textures
« on: April 02, 2016, 02:34:02 pm »
As for floating objects, there are 2 reasons I could think of that may be the problem. If you had placed objects while making the map and then later on decided to change the size, either the length, width, or height, that would cause the already placed objects to either sink, float, or be slightly moved due to the change in size. If that was not the case, while you were placing objects in the map, if you placed them from like, a bird's eye view or in some view that was far away from the ground, your objects could have been placed "floating" without you noticing. Also, if objects are placed half on a hill or dip in the ground, half of them can sometimes appear to be floating.  If you go back into the map maker, you can zoom in close to your placed objects to see if they're slightly floating. If they are you can adjust the Z coordinate I believe to fix that. I hope that helped c:
